This is an honest question and I really am not trying to troll or incite anything. Mods if you feel that this question is trolling please just dump b/c I honestly want to know the answer. That said:
Last year you guys were vilified by the media, NFL, and by nearly every fan in the NFL. I feel it was not warranted to the extent in which it was absurdly executed btw. B/c of this many of your fans turned into the FU NFL mentality and to be honest I dont blame you. I saw you guys created the FU NFL tour poster and even got a big kick out of being the bad guys. Now with the Brady injury it seems as if everyone has rejoiced b/c one it was Brady but also IMO the Pats are still the bad guys in everyone's mind. However I noticed that you guys as opposed to last year are getting a big kick out of being the under dogs again. My questions are a) IF you enjoyed being the villain last year and took such great pleasure at kicking everyone's arse last year(obviously not everyone) shouldn't you not be too shocked by everyone's reaction this season. It does justify it b/c people like Wilbon are clowns for predicting injury. Even the NY Post, they may have had no bad intentions but you can not print the title Yahoo!: Brady out for season b) would you rather the Pats just become the team that isn't villified by the media and take more of the underdog role?.
