Prisco is one of the most prejudiced media pundits I know of. And a big part of his prejudice is that he hates the Pats and Tom Brady. He has to be in seventh heaven right now.

The other half of his prejudice is that he is in man-love with Peyton Manning and worships the Colts. Wonder what he thinks about their cough job with the Bears ?

He said that the Colts have nothing to worry about. Something about their "light camp" might have caused "tackling problems". Haven't they always had light training camps? Haven't they always won their first 5 games each season?

Who do sports journalists routinely confuse attempts to predict the future with analysis? It's a waste of everybody's time.

That said, the proof is in the pudding. We'll see soon enough what happens this season.

Who cares what Prisco thinks? He never felt Brady was all that good. He never bought into the Patriots until after they won their third Super Bowl (remember his "Anyone can win the Super Bowl except the Patriots" mantra prior to the 2004 season).

I almost think I would be more worried if Prisco had faith in the Patriots.

Of course it was a fluke game for the Colts. Manning just wasn't himself. That is why the Colts defense played so bad. Prisco doesn't want to look stupid by trashing his Super Bowl winner the first week. The thing is that the Pats may not make the Super Bowl because they lost Brady, but I don't think the Colts will win the Super Bowl because even with a healthy Manning I don't think they are nearly good enough.
