Patriots Fans called out by Gresh, Zo and Tanguay

In the post game show last Sunday. They said that we are too passive and don’t make enough noise. They say the 12th Man needs to step it up , now that Brady is out.

I was very proud of the fans in the South End Zone that gave Matt Cassell a huge ovation when he came on the field. I even heard some “Here we go Cassell Here we go” chants. They got behind our QB. I will also say that out fans are very knowledgeable and every time there was a big third down for KC, our fans rose to their feet and tried to make as much noise as possible. We need more of that kind of support. We are going to find out who are the real fans and who is there just for the show.

As far as the noise in the stadium, I think you can blame the design of the stadium and the fact the “Red” clubseats are mostly suits that should be watching the game from the comfort of their homes and give the seats to real fans.

For all of you fair weather fans, I have directions to the Tobin bridge. I have been a fan nearly as long as their existence and have seen some really bad team and some excellent teams. This is still a very good team with or without Tom Brady. Lets stay behind our team and keep our eyes on the prize, another Super Bowl Championship.

It was loudest up in 304 on that last goal line stand. I was yelling and banging on the seats in front of me.

I believe that the crowd can play a huge part in the outcome of the game. We need to have that place rocking every Sunday!

Not to make excuses for Pats fans, but seriously, what do they expect. The franchise's greatest player went down with a serious knee injury. The crowd was clearly in shock.

I have done a bunch of road trips the last few years and I can agree with you a little. I think other stadiums are louder but I don't think it is as much as people like to think. Another thought I had last year to explain this isnt just our own stadium but the circumstances in which we bring when we play other teams. When Gillete has an important game it gets noticeably louder. Well we have been the best in the league so when ever we go somewhere it is an important game to them and thus thier fans pick up the noise a little.

I think at times this crowd can be quite but for the most part they ratchet it up when they have too and I think now and for the rest of the season we have to.

Considering the number of tickets now up for grabs, maybe some die hard fans can get some good tickets replacing a good number of 'pink hats'.

Watching on TV I have thought in the past that lack of noise has been an issue, but I actually thought on Sunday that the crowd was good noise-wise, particularly when the Pats were on offense. Now, as far as those 3 bozos are concerned they're so bad their opinions don't count. Great programming having the 3 of them together.

I was in CL30 for this game, not my normal spot, because a friend of mine invited me. I can say one thing besides the end zones, particularly the south end zone, the stadium was not very loud. It has nothing to do with the design of the stadium, it has to do with the type of people that now attend the games, especially those in the red seats. I got yelled at numerous times for standing up, we sat in row 5, and it was not always the same person. My friend also made a great point when we were talking about the relative lack of noise by saying that this new fashionable croud that currently attends games is probably attending 1 or 2 tops games per year and they view this as an experience and are not hardcore fans. The price of tickets is so high that people make an event out of it and simply wan't to sit back, eat their nachos with extra cheese and enjoy rather than the diehards, like myself, who are into it from the first snap to the final gun. My personal opinion is that the diehards in attendance need to school these newbies on football etiquette. I can say that during this last game after a short pep talk we had the people sitting around us standing and properly schooled after the 1st qtr. I think that maybe like they do at Celtics games, the Pats can get some directions on the jumbotron and the PA announcer can give the fans some instruction. I have noticed this lack of noise phenomenon at other stadiums as well when I attended Pats road games over the past few years so it's not only a Gillette issue. We need to let people know that although they plunked down their hard earned money to come to this game, there are certain responsibilities that come with attending a Patriots football game, one definite prerequisite is that they make noise, another is that they stand. I expect school to be in session starting 9/21 vs Miami.

Day off for me today and I just watched NFL Replay realtime on NFL Network, the crowd was pretty damn good. It was just the red seats where I was sitting that were the problem it seems. Not sure if most know what realtime is but it skips all around the league showing highlights and the crown at Gillette was just as loud, if not louder, than most I heard while watching.

I have to say, from a television viewers point of view, the crowd sounded louder then usual on Sunday. Maybe it was the drama of the moment or Cassell coming in and throwing the TD to Moss, followed by Morris' TD, but they did sound loud when KC had the ball. I think Dierdorf actually made mention of it a few times.

This is come up many times before, about the noice of fans. The stadium design definitely has something to do with it, but that doesnt mean we cant be loud. Being told to sit down on a big 3rd down is a bit ridiculous. People should want to be that 12th man, and actually make a difference. Fans that have club seats (red) for the most part stay inside and watch the game from there. That is a problem, these fans are just like anyone else and should be outside, sitting in the seats that they paid a whole lot of money for and cheering just like the rest of the fans. We as Patriots fans need to be that 12th man and make a difference. Just like BB says, "everyone has a job to do"
