I know it's all speculation here, but if he rehabs this knee and gets the surgery, who are we going to see out there next year (presuming he doesn't retire)?

What scenarios do we see him playing back at 100%?

One thing that frightens me a little bit is that the Patriots haven't been specific about what happened to his knee. If it was only a torn ACL, wouldn't they say so? If it's an MCL and ACL, is there a chance he retires?

Sorry to be doom and gloom, I'm actually cautiously hopeful about the season, but the idea of Brady retiring is a nightmare. That's not likely, right?

I too would really like to know the answer to this question. ACL, PCL, MCL, all of the above, full tear, partial tear? There is a wide range of severity here.

the pats aren't going to go into detail about his injury one way or the other. I'm no expert but he should be able to come back next year and be his old self. i think the chances are better he plays next year then he retires. look at Rodney. he tore his acl and mcl if i'm not mistaken and hes what? 5 6 7 years older then brady? hes playing pretty damn good. you might get more detail about brady in the off season but dont expect to hear anything for awhile .

The ACL is the longest recovery time of them all, the others are largely along for the ride; if he has nerve damage that's a different story but the ACL is the longpole. He should be fine and I wouldn't worry about the Patriots not giving information out . . . you know . . .
