i thought to myself. where are the trolls and remembered Ian's hard work. This board has been therapeutic.

almost all are pats fans and the ones who aren't have been classy. yesterday was frustrating with the board congested and not being able to get on.

it's only football but it's nice to hear other people's comments and we still have alot to look forward to. I know deep down the team was taken for granted. I expected easy victories.

Every week is gonna be a nail biter on the edge of the couch. I'm looking forward to the Jets game to see how the Pats will deal with adversity and what they have cooked up on offense and defense. Also how many will elevate their play.

Thanks to Ian for circling the wagons.

and to the dedicated posters stay on the train because out of the station and hopefully will pick up steam each week.

I hope pats1 is back eating.

so thanks dedicated pats fans.

I agree...it was HARD last night..no board as it was almost impossible to get into..and then once in harder to post or read...Had much on my mind..but today..a LOT to read..and to focus and go forward. Thanks Ian!!!

Agreed. Nice post and thanks to all the MODS that make this as good as it gets.

Thanks, you have no idea how much time we've spent the last two days just reviewing reported posts, deleting and banning trolls. You don't see a fraction of it.

yes you do a thankless job. thanks to all the mods for your dedication, without it the board would be at a standstill. if any players ever read this or their friends or family there are many dedicated fans behind this team. behind the ENTIRE team.

Put me on the co-sign list too :) Well said, everyone.

Very well said to the OP and a huge thanks to all the admins that put it what I know is a ton of personal time keeping this board running.

It's particularly beneficial to those of us that have moved away. Since I found this place about a year ago I feel somewhat re-connected with the team and fans.

I'll definitely be signing on as a paid member to do my part. I hope others that have the resources available will do the same. Nowadays its less than the cost of half a tank of gas.

ThAnks to ian, mods and al the rel fAns! I'm on a biz trip now Am trying to type on my itouch. I cant! I wil be back posting soon.

I've spent no less than four hours today going through all the new registrations (over 200 today which are all individually screened), directing trolls to the Visiting Locker Room, deleting attempted duplicates, more flat out ridiculous names (BWAAAHHHBradysDone, etc.) It's been nuts. Every time I finally finish there's 10 more to go through.

The mods have been all over all the threads, moving, merging, and trying to maintain order and have done a hell of a job. It could have been chaotic in here with the rest of the league's teams "descending upon us". But thankfully we've been able to prevent most from coming in here, and the mods have gotten rid of the few who slipped by.

So it's nice to hear some positive things, and we really appreciate it. Not everything was that way yesterday.

Agree with everyone's sentiments. Well-done and thanks. Frankly, this site helped me get through areally rough day yesterday, ans I would guess I'm not alone. Therapy works.

It's not a thankless job. All us Pats fans thank you everyday by coming to this message board over the espn joke of a message board. The espn new england message board should be called the "new england troll" message board because that's what it has become and it makes it no fun to read. So, thanks for keeping this board troll-free.

Thanks to all involved.
It still amazes me how all the a-holes come out of the woodwork.
What the hell is wrong with people, and thanks for keeping them out of our business.
