The loss of the the best QB in the game today is definitely a bummer, but I certainly do not believe that it is over for us. Just looking at the losses of SD and Indy yesterday shows that the AFC is truly up for grabs and I think we have just as good a chance as any of the top contenders. We are going to have to get back to the kind of football that won us our 3 superbowls- ball control, superior defensive play calling, and creating turnovers. If anyone can remember back to the early 2000's, we won most of our games by 3pts or less(FG) or a big defensive stop in the last few seconds of the majority of our games.

I think we have probably the best kicker in the game right now in Gost. Our D should be in the top 3 in the league once again. We have possibly the best OL in the game. We have never been more stacked at RB and WR in the history of the franchise. Only question for me is the db's and can Cassel stay calm and not make alot of mistakes. From what I saw in the KC game, I am encouraged on both counts. JEST are favored by 2.5 pts?! Haha. They were one play away from losing to noodle arm last week. I was not at all impressed. The only team in our division that concerns me is da Bills. I predict the Pats will win against the JEST ala 2004 style. Look for our games this year to be grind out battles. I think it's going to be alot of fun.

Re: Not ready to commit suicide just yet:

Just wait until teams actually start game planning for Matt Cassell. He got off lucky yesterday since the Chiefs trained all weak to stop Brady, so they weren't used to Cassell's playing style. But, once teams get film on him and they attack his weaknesses, I expect he'll do much worse. The question will be whether or not your running game and defense can carry your team into the playoffs.

It's amazing what happens when you give Norv Turner 2 years to f*** up your team chemistry and gameplans :D
