This Old-School Football Guy Misses the 3-Back sets.

Just wondering ... is there any hope for the old smash mouth 3-back sets? I used to love that brand of football . We have 4 RB's who could really make it work :woohoo:... I'm not sure Evans could pull it off but the other 3 sure can. Imagine Faulk or Maroney as a half-back with Morris & Jordan in front of him.

We are obviously going to have to make some offensive adjustments and they may be a blessing in disguise (like what our running game schemes could be).

I'm impressed with our defense too . It's a long road but I feel there is that ATTITUDE among Seymour, Wilfork, Harrison and some of the younger dudes. Playing angry is the way to go. If our defense can dominate......We can def make it back to the SB.

Let's face it ... yes Brady came on strong but we won in 2001 - 2003 & 2004 mostly with defense ... those were the lean WR years. Except for Troy playing well Brady was throwing to JAG's all the time.
