Brady to Curran: "I’m excited to see what our team is made of"

Hmm. I'm starting to think this whole "injured Tom Brady" thing is all just another one of Bill Bellichek’s nefarious schemes.

Brady never blew out his knee. Bellichek is just trying to make other teams take the Patriots lightly. I swear, that guy’ll do anything to gain even the slightest advantage in gameplanning.

Watch, the Pats will introduce their new QB this week against the Jets. It’ll be a guy named “Brom Tradey,” and he’ll look just like Tom Brady, only with a big, thick mustache that looks sort of scotch-taped on.

You get a gold star for making me laugh.

Definitely made me LOL!!!

This must be what it's like to play with Tom. Just reading that "It will all be OK." has really calmed me down and lifted my spirits.

Get well Tom!

That's all I needed to hear as well. Just that Tom is optimistic and doing well.

awesome.......

Don't mean to distract from the main topic but this made me laugh:

There is, Warren said, no other option: “This is my livelihood. This is how I feed my family. When the Jets take the offense next week, it’s my job to help stop them. That’s the way it is.

When will sports players stop saying that; especially when they want a bigger contract. I'm sorry but you're having no difficulties feeding your family. In fact, I'm betting Ty Warren has enough money to feed his and several other families for the rest of their lives without even making another cent. He's playing for a bigger house, fancy cars, etc.; not for food.

I don't care how they spend their paycheck. I'm just saying it's funny to me whenever they talk about needing to feed their families, since these guys are all millionaires.

You do realize how much of an idiot you sound for pointing that out, right? Ty Warren isn't saying that in the midst of a contract negotiation. He's saying it in the context of his livelihood. In other words, if Warren got injured, then it would be his livelihood. And, please, you don't know squat about Warren and what he does. Acting like he's a money grubbing pr!ck like Ty Law shows you to be disingenuous.

warren isnt saying this for a contract. he is implying that its his JOB to play and be professional about it regardless of what happens to our QB. He isnt implying he is playing the jets to feed his family.

Even if Ty Warren quit today, I highly doubt he would have any trouble feeding his family, unless he wasted all the money he's already made. I'm not trying to attack Ty Warren, I was just pointing out how funny it is whenever sports stars say things like that.

I was just making a general statement. I wasn't attacking Ty Warren directly.

So, you purposely take it out of context and try and make him into some money grubbing person. There is no humor in it. Its a pathetic attempt on your part to make him sound like some rich uppity person who has no idea what living the tough life is like.

Let me fill you in on something. Ty Warren has lived the tough life and he's speaking as a WORKING man. Not only that, Ty Warren has made some significant donations of time and money to charity.

Dude, relax. If it was a player on any other team you probably wouldn't be reacting like this. I realize you're trying to defend your own but I wasn't trying to attack him; just trying to bring a little humor to this thread. But, I can see my efforts were wasted.
