Yesterday was easily the 2nd worst day of my life as a Pats fan (The first obviously being the Superbowl). I got atleast 50 calls from people being ecstatic about Brady's injury, it almost came to blows a couple of times with some d-bags in my hall way who stopped by my room just to tell me how they hope to God his career is finished. Haha why didn't I just go to school in Boston I'll never know but I'll tell yah, there are some classless fans out there man, I mean I can understand them being happy about how Brady going down greatly improves their odds of making the play offs but some of the things I've had to deal with in the last 24 hours have been just classless. But whatever man, I've already made a Cassel name plate out of medical tape to put on my Brady Jersey, so lets show these mothers that its the PATRIOTS dynasty NOT the Tom Brady Dynasty!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! GO PATS!

i know how you feel, i live near buffalo, and im sick of hearing from people that they are so excited hes done, its sick people need to grow up. Hes a NFL superstar and people are going to realize how much this season is going to suck with him not playing.

Lots of fans outside of NE are being arrogant d-bags..... oh well karma will get them.... oh look Titans fans Vince Young is out... wait that might be an improvement.

I'm close to Indy territory so i know how you feel.

The Super Bowl in 1986 was horrible...so was this past Bowl. Yesterday may be the 3rd worst day except for one reason: HOPE.
I had no reason to hope after any of those other 3 events...but I am excited and hopeful to see how this team responds.

Besides, the Red Sox are hot and the Yankees are going to miss the playoffs! The Patriots will not disappoint us.

Ah, just forget it.

What school are you at, by the way?

I know you probably won't get a chance to see the NE-Buffalo game at Buffalo, but it has been a real treat seeing the Patriots destroy the Bills every year with 1/3rd of the fans being Patriots fans.

That's why Bills fans are killing you right now. Because they have been madder than hell about Patriots' fans owning the Ralph this decade.

Even the hometown sports announcers on 550 love the Patriots. As the Bulldog said (the top sports guy in town): "After the Bills, I root for the Patriots. Why? Because you have to admire perfection and team football."

He said this AFTER spygate.

I go to Suny Buffalo (UB). And yeah I think I am going to make it to the Buffalo game this year, its been tough missing so many pats games the last few years (I'm from Albany and my family has season tickets) I've only made it to two games a year the last 3 years (one regular season one play off game). But yeah we do own alot of the Ralph when we play there but I have a feeling its not going to be like that this year. And yeah I do like how Schoppe and the Bulldog actually respect the Pats.

And I dispise baseball so its not much comfort to me that the Sox are doing well. And even if I did it wouldn't make the loss of Brady any less devastating to me, thats called jumping off the bandwagon. I am glad the Yanks are gonna miss the play offs though.

I was at a bar filled mostly with steeler and Jets fans, and they seemed to cheer louder at the highlight of Brady being injured then their own games.

If we can beat them with Cassell, they'll be feeling like dumbasses.

I'm at UB too.

You should have expected it.

I live in Buffalo, and the people here are really down on their favorite pastime's lack of playoffs in forever.

Let's face it: the Bills and Patriots have never been archenemies.

So, what changed?

I think we all know the answer to that question.

Jealousy.

We got a few troll messages from Buffalo area IPs yesterday too. I read the story on digg about Brady and was surprised by how many decent responses there were. 95% was just wishing Tom well.

I've seen alot of that attitude over the net.

Pretty pathetic that they have such lousy owners/coaches/players, that they have to be gleeful that one of the best players in the league is out for the season.

Now they feel they actually have a chance.

The Hatred is REAL.

I'd say its more jealousy than hatred, if they hated him because he won alot of games people would hate Peyton Manning too. They're just jealous of the jewelry

I would not be shedding tears if Manning went down. I don't know why...any Colt, Jet, Yankee, Laker, or Dookie 'going down' doesn't really bother me. :D

They're like that all over the place, man.

The thing that truly pisses me off is that Brady has been a class act throughout his career. I've never seen the guy badmouth opposing players/fans. I've never seen him boast. I've never seen him do childish stunts for attention. I've never seen him pull the 'better team lost today' CRAP. The only thing people have to hate about him is the fact that he wins. And here they are cheering on a severe injury to one of the greatest athletes we'll get to watch in our lifetime. Just goes to show how pathetic some people are.
