Why am I NOT surprised at all...Reiss has it now....
Claimed that it was legal because......."But the Pollard hit was deemed legal because "the defensive player was coming off and affected by a block by the offense", according to a league spokesman. "
That is a stretch...take a look at the pics..please..

Oh boy, this'll be fun. Conspiracy theories in 3, 2, 1....

Roger Goodell is a biased former Jets employee.

If Wilfork's hit last year was a fine, then Pollard should be fined.

This legal hit ruling is complete bullsiht.

because it was NOT dirty.
dirty or not THAT is not the question...legal?? Apparently they claimed Morris had a lot to do with it..why have rules when they apply differently to things..legal?? Just another Goodell ruling that is inconsistent with other rulings..THAT's ALL...

It wasn't a dirty hit. Football is a violent sport, lots of players get hurt in perfectly clean plays, and this was one of them.

They announced that last night.

Who cares. Seriously, get over it. Unless you want to beat your freakin' head against a wall with this for the next 12 months, it's not going to change anything.

I'm not talking just to you Pats726, but to everyone. This is crap, Brady's out - Cassell's in.

The only question that really needs to be answered is, are you a fan or not?

wilfork threw his elbow out.. to hit a quarterback in the knee.. AFTER the pass had been thrown.

This is an outrage. Kraft better demand Goodell's head.

It doesn't change anything, so I just can't get too fired up over this. I definitely do not believe the NFL wanted one of it's marquee names taken out. So no conspiracy theory for me.

I blame Morris,

Morris more or less took out his QBs knee.

I wonder if Brady has spoken with Morris.

I would like to be a fly on the wall when BB talks to Morris.

DISCLAIMER: I don't really believe what I posted but I love the conspiracy threads.

How was Wilfork's hit on Losman last year illegal, but Pollard's this year is legal? Wilfork was blocked as well, he was blocked right into Losman. So whats the difference?

F$#^#@ the NFL

yea wilfork threw elbow out so as not to land with his arms , supporting 300 + pounds. he was pushed into the qb. Pollard...it was his own choice to tackle brady anyway he could.

The NFL masks have fallen today..with this ruling. no matter...pats are used to adversity.

This is an outrage! A $25,000 fine would have made this situation all better!

i couldn't care less how wilfork landed .. the fact is he threw his elbow into a QB's knee after he released the pass. PERIOD.

Pollard hit Brady while he was passing.

Damage is done, who really cares if Pollard got a fine or not.

Clearly all the NFL cares about is their idiot yokel fans out in the middle of nowhere whose teams flat out suck and can't stand the sight of a northeastern team kicking them in their backwards @ss. So they did this on purpose cause their tired of a Boston team dominating all the white trash teams for the past decade. F(*&() them. F(&*(U& eveyone.
