I think we'll start out competitively as our superior game plan skills are evident. Maybe even take an early lead. But as the game wears on and talent matters, I see our fortunes reversing towards the end of the 1st half into the 2nd. Cassell vs Favre is just not a matchup that works in our favor. And to think as luck (bad) would have it our 1st start w/o Brady is in that craphole meadowlands new jersey.

go suck on mangini's left testicle. no matter what happens sunday the bretts aren't going anywhere.

Say what you want now but when Brady's back and we're putting up 50 points again you guys will whine and cry about us running up the score. So have fun while it lasts.

Pats 24

Jets 14

My friend told me he saw the line at Jets -2.5.

Crazy...

i know that favre just started in NY but they barely beat the freakin dolphins yesterday..if any Jets fans think this is gonna be an easy win they are wrong..i know cassell isnt tom brady but all it takes is a good game plan & other NE players to step up..it"ll be a close game

Pats 17 - Jets 14

If I was a Jets fan, I'd be a little alarmed that Favre still doesn't have a good part of the playbook down. He admitted that he winged it in the huddle by calling the same play twice in a row on a few occasions. I think they have more of a chance in the Thursday night game in November.

We already have our pain. How's your kicker? Heard he couldn't finish the game yesterday and you guys barely squeaked by Miami (haven't seen the game). Seems like you guys wore down as much as we did, and Cassel vs. Favre's stats were pretty even.

Last time the Pats played Favre they knocked him out of the game before winning 35-0. Even if Cassel & Co. can only score 1/2 that, aren't you a little worried?

Pats 14-13.

Unlike the Dolphins, the Pats won't give up on the run for no apparent reason. Also, I think the Pats don't let that heaving TD to Cotchery ever to work.

Yes I am more then a bit worried.

But at the same time quite optomistic.

All smack aside, here is hopeing for a good clean injury free game, and may the best team win.

Pats have the better defense, the better ST, the better WR's, the better RB's...the only spot they're trumped is at QB, and Favre and his gunslinging ways will not fare well against the Patriots front 7. I'm honestly shocked at the general pessimism about next week and the year in general; this team is far more than Brady and to say they're anything but a possible playoff team seems reactionary and shocking.

Pats 20-13

The Fish had to give up on the run because they were down by 10 points.

If the Jets get an early 10 point lead the Pats won't be running the ball either.

I like the idea of a 14 to 13 nail biter.:)

The day the Dynasty died, 9/14/08

A 6-point win over Miami hardly a dynasty makes, regardless of who's playing quarterback for Tubby Ratfink and the Green Beans. But don't be too hard on your team, they have a better-than-normal chance to keep up with the Patriots because Tom Brady is injured and won't play.

This would have been an easy game with Tom. It will still be an easy game with Matt. Pats by 14.

The Pats are clearly still a better team than the Jets. The Pats defense will expose the true Bret Farve.

Just to be clear here.

I am not saying that the Jets are Dynasty in the making.

The "The day the Dynasty died 9/14/08" is just smack talk stating that the Jets will put an end to the Pats Dynasty.

I wonder if Mangini will shake BBs hand after the game?
