What's up with the embarrassing exodus of fans who left the stadium so early? Good job confirming exactly what the haters say about us being such front runners. I was so mad I could've tossed a brick through the TV! Ugh!

Maybe this was just me, but I didn't notice this at the Stadium. I thought the mass exodus after the final field goal was a little ridiculous though.

are you responding to what you saw on NBC last nite ? i doubt it was real, they just edited in the portion to make it sound funny just like olbermann can do.

Re: Ashamed of all the fans who left as soon as Brady got hurt

That was a "joke" by the TV producers. All the people leaving were at the end of the game.

Re: Ashamed of all the fans who left as soon as Brady got hurt

I was pretty amazed by all the fans who left with 4 or so minutes to go and the game not locked away.

Then I saw the stadium traffic.

No, seriously, I don't get why you go to a game to leave before the outcome is really decided. I saw a ton of people just hanging out eating or playing ball while they waited for traffic to die down and that seems to me like the best way to handle things. Make a day of it.

That said, it was my first trip to the stadium. I sure wish it hadn't been this particular game.

And I also wish I had brought sunblock, but that's neither here nor there.

Yeah, "jokes" like that will keep me away not only from sports media but ALL media in the coming months.

That’s the best approach tailgate before and after the game

Those were your so called bandwagoners, and it's just as well because they probably take up seats that might otherwise be used by real fans. I say good riddence to them.

Nobody left then. It just got really quiet (as you can imagine) until Cassel & Moss hooked up. A lot of people left when the Pats went ahead by 7, though, and missed the heart-attack almost come-back of KC. Most leave (and left yesterday) when they think the game is in the bag to fight the horrible traffic out of Gillette. Since the Pats D had played pretty well all game and hadn't given up any big plays, most people weren't expecting the game to go down to the wire. You can't think that way in the NFL, though (obviously).

@ the game and no one left.. Actually the place got louder and there was a big cheer for Cassel when he came in..

Re: Ashamed of all the fans who left as soon as Brady got hurt

Im asuming ticket waiting list will be shorter by the bandwagon fans..

I find the will within to turn into a world class sprinter to get through the parking lots quick-like and get out ok after seeing a kneeldown or whatever the last play is. Tailgating postgame is also a great option, especially for the 1PM games--not so much for the primetimes we had seemingly every week last year.

I was there as I'm sure were many other posters. The section opposite us in the nose bleeds cleared out about 30-40% at halftime (just really in one section). Most people left with about 3 min to go. We stayed until the end, as a spectator you couldn't have asked for a more dramatic game, I don't know why you would want to leave. I didn't know the story with the injury until I got home to CT at about 9. My brother (A Seahawks fan) had to call to try to rub in the injury (He watches his games on Sunday with a Jets fan who had brain surgery... I know there is a really good joke there somewhere, but I don't want to go to hell for coming up with it...) I wish I had known how bad his hawks got beat when I got that call...

This is the one that had me wondering if those same people had witnessed the end of the last 2 seasons. There were over 2 minutes left at that point.

Virtually nobody left. Guy is a clown. Never happened.

Cool, I get to say "I hate Olberman" without it being a political statement ;)
