There was a time not too long ago in The NFL when all Quarterbacks would sit behind a starter for 3-4 years before they ever say the field.That is exactly the same situation We find Matt Cassel in right now.After 3 full seasons ,He should know the Offense so now it comes down to reading and execution.None of Us know how this will work but I'm hoping for the best.
As for bringing in the new Quarterbacks don't be surprised if it ends up being Tim Rattay.Remember back in 2000 the 6th Round decision was between Tom Brady and Tim Rattay.The Patriots have liked Rattay for a long time.I know about The Simms Connection to Bill Belichick but this other connection can't be overlooked.
