Why I am not too worried...

I'm watching the replay of "the hit" and if it was so devastating of a tear to his knee, how was he able to focus on making sure the pass was complete and the completion of the play prior to worrying about his knee?

Watch the replay, he goes down, and he puts a hand on his knee, and watches if Randy caught it, and then make the run after the catch, then... he focuses on the knee...

I have to imagine, if there was a large tear, then first thing would be to grab and worry about the knee... I believe he will be ok, and play this year. I think the Media hate, and the hush hush of injuries by the Partiots, is all just feeding this media "out of the season" talk...

God I hope your right. Im sitting here at work (in Nashville) and forcing the guys to keep it on ESPN (chance of breaking news) and these guys are kinda fired up that Vince Young wont be starting next week.
What a difference....2 starters out, me depressed over mine and these guys are happy....ugh.

Adrenaline helps you cope with the pain, watch any other player int he NFL after a hit that tear or breaks something... everything instantly is focused on what happened... no one stay worried about the play, and watches the WR run, and then Fumble...

That is THE EXACT play I thought about when I saw Brady...
The Pull happened, and everything focused on that pain.


I'm sorry, but brady isn't super man, and every other player in the NFL when a tear or break happens, rives in pain on the field and focuses on the injury. He didn't even look in pain at first... if you watch simply his reaction, it doesn't look bad. And on top of that, he gets up and walks off.

He's a battler, hes tough, but all that makes me think the issue isn't as bad at the Media is reporting.

The thing is, Brady doesn't grab his knee. He grabs 4-5 inches below his knee. (I'm clutching at straws here). If it were truly a knee injury, IMO, he would be grabbing at the knee like Carson Palmer did years back. I'm not a doctor but I do know (pretty sure) that the knee ligaments (ACL/PCL) are not attached down the side of the leg. Having said that, it could be a MCL, but I don't know.

It was Pass and that was the most ridiculous play I've ever seen.
