While losing Brady is nothing short of a disaster, we still have the best coach in the history of the NFL. Let's remember that this is a man who knows how to win close games, knows how to identify and utilize talent, knows how to befuddle the opposition, knows how to manage his resources, is an expert on defensive strategy, has a lot of experience in dealing with injuries at key positions, and who never panics. This is a guy who can keep his team focused and quickly identify what changes are needed to exploit the remaining strengths of the team.

While the loss of Brady is of course about the worse thing that could happen to a pats fan, BB has brought in great talent. Receivers like Randy Moss can help compensate for the weaknesses of whoever replaces Brady. We have a large RB crew and a talented line that can easily be developed to improve our running game. Also, let's remember that BB is completely comfortable playing a defensive game. Think about all the times in years past that the Pats won by 3 or so points because BB chose to play a ball control game rather than try to pad the lead. BB has the confidence and intelligence to make whatever advantages that Pats have work for them.

Our offense may not be as strong as 2007, but we still have many of the features of a winning team in place. I can think of no better coach to address the challenges that a Brady-less Pats team will face. He will keep the Pats competitive and deliver them into the playoffs. Go Patriots!

We still have the greatest coach in the history of the NFL.

Welcome to step #3, bargaining.
