Re: disgraceful reaction to Brady's injury....

In a sense, we're not truly "real" on the internet and can be anyone we please. having said that, I am the toughest internet guy in the world and I'll figuratively kick anyone's a** that comes & gloats on this board.

Now, how tough do I sound?:p

Re: disgraceful reaction to Brady's injury....

Dirty hit my ass...............It is because of comments like this that make me glad he is busted up......Wilfork lays a late hit on a QB and you pvssies say he is just playing football.......

Are you from Utica? It's sad what passes for manhood in that part of the world...

Re: Reveling in injuries (merged)

I was talking to a friend about what has happened with Brady's injury, as well as the gloating and absolute venom hurled at the Patriots organization for the past 12 months. Here is what he had to say, and I couldn't agree more:

"I'll say this. After last year's gloating over the pats' loss in the SB, this shadenfreude over Brady's injury means that I will never, ever for any reason have any sympathy whatsoever for fans of any other team."

There's competitive spirit, wanting to see your team win or the dragon slayed, but what we've seen is beyond contempt. At the bar I was at in Baltimore for instance, the entire bar was cheering after every replay of Brady's injury. Comments from people on sports blogs across the internet are similarly venomous.

I will never, ever forget or forgive this. It has tainted my perception of Americans irreparably.
i think it's pretty sick to revel in injuries, a true fan wants to beat a team at their best

i hope you guys get brady back and the out for the year news is false

never wish injury or revel in them, that's so lame to do, some stupid giants fan on our board, did that when it was thought that merriman was going to miss the season.

every fanbase has those tards though, every single fanbase

Re: Schadenfreude

I gots myself up 'n 2 degrees do from UConn...Obviously not an Ivy League-Patriot school unfortunately...

FYI: The B.A. is actually just one degree, not two, despite the number of letters in the abbreviation. Check your diploma if you don't believe me...

Re: Reveling in injuries (merged)

Anyone who is truly happy about Brady's injury needs to strongly reconsider their life's priorities.

You are happy that a man got injured. He has never done anything to you. He goes to work, does his job well, and smiles for the camera. You hate him because he is too good at his job.

It makes me sick to see the way people act about the Patriots losing Tom Brady (and losing in general).
