I read that Brady was not seen on the injury report for the first time in over 5 years in which he had the dreaded never ending shoulder problem - Then last week for the first time we saw Brady added his foot problem to the shoulder problem and now he is off altogether?

I know BB has been clever with the media and to opposing teams week to week with the 'secretive injury report' but just wonder what was up his sleeve to totally remove Brady from the report after like 5 years on it with the shoulder injury - now the shoulder injury AND the foot injury are both gone off it?.

Any opinions as to why?

Is BB telling the league,YES Brady is back better than 100% and he's ready to have his best year ever, even beating his 2007 stats? or is it something else IYO?

Maybe it was to have the fans simply relax and get some sleep no longer worrying whether or not that that no talent waste of a roster spot Cassel was going to have to start at QB?

I simply wonder.....

I have 3 questions: 1) Why would Bill Belichick, Scott Pioli, Robert Kraft and the Patriots' medical staff allow Brady to participate fully in practice this week if his condition placed him in jeopardy? 2) Why would the above-mentioned people allow him to play against the Chiefs if his condition placed him in jeopardy? 3) What confirmed medical evidence does anyone have which indicates the exact nature of Brady's foot injury? Answers. please and (for once) I'm not trying to be a wise-ass...

Your post was irrelevant to my question here - We all know Brady played EVERY game with that 'shoulder injury' but now 1 week after adding his foot to the report with 2 injuries for the first time in years he is gone off the list altogether a week later for the first time since 2003

Its just weird IMO

Keep in mind that's not THE injury report. . . . That comes out tomorrow.

LOL - That is true but just sayin' it was a shocker today,a pleasant one nonetheless but a shocker ....

Learn to relax and enjoy life.

This is just a participation report, it means nothing and it doesn't matter if teams lie on it. I am quite sure Brady will show up on the actual injury report when it comes out.

He participated fully in practice, which is all that matters.

BB is just ******* with you.

Congrats on your 3000th post.

brady will be on it, he will be pobable with a right shoulder

He's probably been cut from the team so it doesn't matter. :D

I think BB enjoys illustrating the hypocricy of an NFL Commissioner who put's appeasing the bookies in Las Vegas with accurate injury reports over any coaches effort to keep the opposition from knowing his team's weaknesses from going into a game.

Some fans take Belichick's commitment to win for arrogance. Maybe it is - but I'm glad he keeps thumbing his nose at a blatantly hypocritical rule.

I agree that's a big part of why Brady has always been on it the last 5 years. I don't, however, see any reason he would take him off now that he has actual injury concerns. It's pointless to let people believe Brady will be 100% and then have him not be, it makes much more sense the other way around. That said, I fully expect him to be on the official injury report when it comes out, even if it's just "with a shoulder"

I trust that you won't complain if we are penalized another draft choice for continuing to thumb our noses oat NFL rules.

You're right, it was irrelevant to your post and it really wasn't intended to be a response to it. My post was a case of venting about the injury issue itself and I simply placed my post in response to one (yours) about the injury issue. My apologies. I surely wasn't disagreeing with you. In fact, I found your post to be interesting and thought-provoking. I just went a little off topic in frustration.

I don't wonder at all. It's his typical FU to the league to start the season. He thinks injury reports are dumb and manipulates them just enough within the rules to drive everyone crazy. He didn't do it to appease fans - pardon him, but since we don't help him win the game, he doesn't give a rat's patoot about us (for injury purposes, anyway). He's not telling the league anything other than, "You want an injury report? Here you go. Put that in your pipe and smoke it."

They have to prove we did something dishonest. What are they going to do, invade the Pats locker room before the game with a posse of doctors and examine Brady's foot?

BB got a little sloppy with the video taping. I think he learned his lesson about pushing the envelope too far. That doesn't mean he is going to become Goodall's pet and bring him an apple before each game.

I think your worries are unfounded.

I dont know about the rest of you Joes, but Im ready to send Belichick a friggin' Christmas card for not putting our boy on the report yet. If nothing else, I think he's doing us all a favor and easing our minds just a hair going into Sunday. Maybe that's what he's actually thinking?? Likely a wrong guess, but Im going to bat for the coach this time and expecting that maybe, just maybe, he actually cares about us. ;)

maybe the league asked him to remove brady from the report
but the fact that brady for the first time is not on the list in a long time is incorrect. i believe in all SBś atleast brady was not on the injury list.
