As Troy Brown might say, BINGO! No Brady.

Chris - I think you'd better call Bill and make sure it wasn't an over-sight. Seriously. We all know that BB wants Brady to have another record.. The most weeks on the Injury Report without actually being hurt....

It feels downright weird seeing an injury report that doesn't reference Brady's shoulder.

And to think, just yesterday he was suffering from the dreaded shoulder-foot.

How about this as a 'glass half empty' theory: BB has had Brady on there for years with the bum shoulder, and it's been bogus for years. Nothing more than a mind game. To start this season there's been real speculation that Brady is, in fact, actually hurt going into the season. However, rather than put him on the injury report, as everyone expected, you leave him off...and everyone is scratching their heads wondering if this is another mind game or if Brady is, in fact, healthy.

Me, I believe that Brady is close to 100% but not quite there, and he was left off the injury report for the reason I mentioned above: another mind game to keep everyone on their toes. We'll find out on Sunday.

This is absolutely BB thumbing his nose at the whole idea. I think there was a thread here a year or two ago where people were musing about what BB would do if Brady ever had a condition actually warranting a notation on the injury report. We all said, a bit tounge in cheek -- why, that's exactly when he'll leave him off. And that's exactly what he's doing.

I have no doubt this is all a big mind game. If Brady's foot had never happened, we'd surely see "Brady shoulder" this week, but now that Brady actually has something to report, BB is doing the opposite. I'm not saying that Brady's foot is an issue or isn't. He's clearly going to play, we'll know when we know whether it's anything beyond an annoyance, and I'm ok with that. But for anyone that's followed BB's history with these, this is absolutely hilarious.

Welker's not on it either?

pats have done this before for added emphasis. they release the report without brady and then send in a correction with brady being probable with the right shoulder.

I think that maybe Bill is being smart by saying Brady is not injured anymore, that way, the Chiefs have less motivation to try to injure him. If he was listed as probable on shoulder/foot, wouldn't the Chiefs want to try to hit him more? Just Guessing. ;)

This is Belichick say FU once again to the league... when Brady's healthy, he's listed on the report... when he's playing hurt he's off.

Frankly I love it when Bill thumbs his nose at a League who apparently is more concerned about giving Las Vegas bookies the most up to date information - other than that, why should Goodell care whether teams are able to game plan for one player or the other.

Way to go Bill!

As I recall this attitude toward the league lost us a first round draft choice.

Three Super Bowl Rings compared to one draft pick? I don't know... it's a tough call but I'm leaning away from the draft pick and more towards the FU attitude and the rings.

But why the FU attitude?

The NFL is a great league and has made Belichick a very rich man.

LeKevin Smith ... how much more can Keegs take...he's been waiting for a while now.

But why the FU attitude?

The NFL is a great league and has made Belichick a very rich man.

Why the FU now? After Goodell totally overreacted to a practice of taping signals that teams have been engaging in for 50 years? I think that's obvious.

Before that, specifically regarding the injury report, Belichick never seemed all that eager to reveal information to the opposition that he'd prefer to keep quiet, even if the Commissioner did deem it vital to the bookies in Las Vegas to know if a starting QB was playing or not.

I can understand why fans who frequently bet on NFL games can't stand Belichick's desire to put winning before the interests of Las Vegas - but for the rest of us, I think its admirable that Belichick bends this rule as much as he can.
