I consider Ojinnaka primarily a RT (and also a RG). I suspect that LeVoir will be cut next week to make room for him, as many have speculated.

I'm OK with 10 OL's while Kaczur recuperates.

1960 - Pats team 5-9 finish 4th in division
1970 - Pats team 2-12 finish last in division
1980 - Pats team 10-6 finish 2nd in division
1990 - Pats team 1-15 finish last in division
2000 - Pats team 5-11 finish last in division
2010 - ????? TBD

Some will look at this and say its dumb and means nothing and you may well be right,some will say Belichick will never have those sort of records as above as long as he is coach here.

Some will say its really irrelevant and a waste of a thread and deserves one star rating.

But one thing you have to also say,the Pats in history regardless of coaches,players and owners have been horrid in the first year of a new decade with the exception of 1980 but they missed the playoffs that season as well.

Pats in the beginning of a new decade regular season record totals - 23 Wins 53 Losses - 0 Playoff appearances

We've acquired three new players o far, so only 50 (plus Ojinnaka) were here a couple of days ago.

I suspect that there will be more reoster moves before the second game.

LB NINKOVICH over Burgess (some had this right; not me)
LB FLETCHER over McKenzie (a surprise only to some posters here)
LB/ST WHITE over Alexander (one STer for another)
CB PAGE over McGowan who was put on IR (injuries happen)
#25 LOVE was the chosen one (somehow this may not last)

OFFENSE
OG/C Ojinnaki is the 5th who doesn't count this week
OT 5 OT's is one too many
ST SLATER over Aiken didn't surprise patchick (I had it close)

Take four (now in the works): In the meantime, hide as many as we can on the PS and shadow roster, trying to anticipate what other teams will do with regards to the players that we consider waiving in order to hide them. So we may keep some players on the 52 roster because if we waive them right off, they will likely get scooped up. In a few days, after other teams have settled on their practice squads and are focusing on game one prep, we can waive them and have a better chance of getting them through and onto our practice squad.

Maneri (6-7, 290) is a rookie out of Temple who played tight end in college. NFL teams had been interested in him as a tight end and tackle in the pre-draft process.

After going undrafted, Maneri elected to sign with the Texans because he wanted to play tackle. He lined up primarily at left tackle in the preseason.
Reiss also notes the Pats will have to make a roster move in order to make room for Maneri.
