OT: Why no youtube embedding?

I've asked this before, and gotten no response...

I don't see a "Questions/Suggestions" forum on here, so I 'spose I'll just go ahead and ask it here...

[youtube]insert link here[/youtube] is a feature i've seen on many sites that embeds the viewing window in the thread, instead of just a link ... If it's something about the bandwidth that would slow down the site, or however that works, I guess I understand... But it sure is nice when your vBulletin of choice turns that feature on...

Any insight? Ian? Patters? Conservative moderator guy? Anyone?

It's a hack, but an easy one to add. I've actually helped add it to a couple forums I participate in........ It's a pretty easy process and I'll be more than willing to explain it private to any of the admins here if they want to add it. It's as simple as adding a new code such as [tube][/tube], and then setting the command to run/allow it.

It doesn't add bandwidth (it runs like an image from a remote server), but it does slow loading for the dial-up challenged among us.
