Without trying looking it up, I'll guess since you posted it. It's a bit ambiguous, but it seems to be saying, Why is Bush worried about isolationism, protectionism, and nativism while we have all these other problems? So, it could be someone like Hagel or even McCain, but I do not think it's McCain since it seems to be a little critical of the Iraq war. Hagel is my guess.

Diamond Dave might surprise you with his knowledge of Cicero quotes. Thats certainly what made me lean towards him. If the Quote was Socrates, then its Sammy for sure...that dude was a Socrates nut. "I can't drive 55" is basically the Socratic method in song form.
