How could this be? Leaving the land of milk and honey?
Seven members of Cuba's national soccer team, which tied the United States in an Olympic qualifying match Tuesday night, deserted the team before its match Thursday against Honduras
Obviously they didn't know about Cuba's Universal Helath Care. http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,337813,00.html

the US has had embargoes and boycotts, and forced many of our friends to do the same, on Cuba economically for decades. I'm pretty sure that is a core factor.

The sad reality of the actions of the US and the embargo is that it does not effect those in power, .. does anyone think that Castro, family and friends do without??? Familes and children are the ones who suffer... the embargo did little to diminish the power of Castro and his heir.
