The damage Bush and the Republicans have done to the image of this country and its citizens abroad is unbelievable.

Too bad we don't just pull all international aid, then we'd see how they feel.

What the French are saying:

Ww der Furher sieht wirklich gut unter dem Effiel Turm aus

or at least what they would be saying if it wasn't for America.

Well in all fairness, you may jhave really bad teeth and love tea if it weren't for the French...

You might be saying things like bollocks, or blimey, all while eating a crumpet...

so we owe them just as much as they owe us... It's very right wing ignorant when I hear that crap...

The U.S. certainly has its issues, but I love at how these articles/bloggers/pundits always dance around China. They're the number 1 human rights violator and polluter, most likely in history.

You obvioulsy forget about the War of 1812, when the British attempted to straighten out thier colonies, with the help of the French Canadians.

Or maybe we could granted them one liberation free (1919), but the second one (1945) kinda gives us one in the hole.

There's no doubt that China is worse in nearly everything I've ever criticized the USA over. I just don' think that mindset is much of a rallying cry:

We rule because we're better than China!!

Our standards used to be so much higher than that
