Default Obama Should Have Embraced Islam

Obama should have gladly embraced Islam... because Islam is a helluva lot less radical than the church that Obama does belong to.

We heard so much from the MSM about Mitt Romney's Mormonism... why are they giving Obama a free pass for belong to a church that open preaches hatred of America...? The Rev. Jeremiah Wright, whom Obama has openly praised on many occassions, makes Farrakhan look like a bastion of open minded tolerance.

Here a quote from the good Reverend celebrating the attacks of 9/11:

"We bombed Hiroshima, we bombed Nagasaki, and we nuked far more than the thousands in New York and the Pentagon, and we never batted an eye. We have supported state terrorism against the Palestinians and black South Africans, and now we are indignant because the stuff we have done overseas is now brought right back to our own front yards. America's chickens are coming home to roost."

The amazing thing is he didn't say it to be arrogant...he was sincere...I went home and told everyone about it." - Bob Kraft

It is late and you must be tired, because you forgot to post this from the same article, and I know how much you care about fairness..

Quote:
Sen. Obama told the New York Times he was not at the church on the day of Rev. Wright's 9/11 sermon. "The violence of 9/11 was inexcusable and without justification," Obama said in a recent interview. "It sounds like he was trying to be provocative," Obama told the paper.

Sen. Obama declined to comment on Rev. Wright's denunciations of the United States, but a campaign religious adviser, Shaun Casey, appearing on "Good Morning America" Thursday, said Obama "had repudiated" those comments.

In a statement to ABCNews.com, Obama's press spokesman Bill Burton said, "Sen. Obama has said repeatedly that personal attacks such as this have no place in this campaign or our politics, whether they're offered from a platform at a rally or the pulpit of a church. Sen. Obama does not think of the pastor of his church in political terms. Like a member of his family, there are things he says with which Sen. Obama deeply disagrees. But now that he is retired, that doesn't detract from Sen. Obama's affection for Rev. Wright or his appreciation for the good works he has done."

Tell us... if McCain belonged to a church that said such hateful, reprehensible things, would you give him a free pass for it...? If he made a throwaway line like "well, I don't agree with them on that one issue," would that be enough for you to resolve the issue of him belonging to that church his entire life...?

Heh heh... there's Maverick again doing the exact same thing... you don't respond to what I've posted, you just try and hijack the thread by mentioning someone who's got nothing to do with anything I've said...

If Obama (god forbid) should go to the White House that is when you will see this Racist Anti American reverend of Obama's start to act up and any one who dares to stand up to him will be branded "Bigot" the media will be petrified of him he will be a regular guest at the White House (he will attend the State Of The Union Addresses) Obama might even let the racist bastard give a sermon, he will Insult and degrade America in his sermon and the Cowardly Democrats will give him a standing ovation, the reason they fear him, he is a Racist Black Man, a good example of that fear,
(Don Imus crawling on his belly to apologize to the Pompous Racist Little Reverend Skunk, Sharpton)

I probably would not link him with the words of a pastor, I do not know what religion McCain is and did not know until today what religion Obama was. Every prez seems to have some excess baggage associated with religion, look at George didn't Pat Robertson or Falwell say that 9-11 was the result of homosexuality?? Neither of these guys are his pastor, but are certainly part of the inner circle... I kinda believe in the constitution, you know the separation of church and state.. to me it is just people grabbing at straws which results in hyperbole, hysteria and then the famous intolerance and hatred kicks in.

Yeah. Obama is never anywhere where anything controversial is ever said.

Yeah. We hear so much about Bush spending time with his top advisors...Condi, Rove, Cheney and Falwell.

Inner circle?

Typical.

Problem with this thread - and discussions like it - is that it focuses on something that doesn't matter and ignores the issues that confront us. It shows how we tend to nit-pick on associates and every word of the candidates have said in their past and get distracted from issues like the dollar, environment, petroleum supply, invasions /occupations and how we treat the helpless citizens. We have elected complete idiots for their catchy soundbites and reject other good men because of how they yell, look, and dress. we are truly in deep sh!t if this trend continues. Yet another negative consequence of the TV.

Did anyone get past the first sentence?
