Well, first of all I should mention that I set the poll timer to be one less day than it should have been, so all the polls closed this morning as opposed to tomorrow morning.
No biggie,
but here is a new bracket reflected the winners of the first round

I'll wait until you post the second round matches and then I'll merge the first round matches. I'd rather merge WITH the first round matches:rocker:

It seems the voters were most interested in the Gisele-Bridget matchup as that got the most votes, check it out......

Notes.....
-13th seeded Ana Ivanovic and Shakira were the lowest seeds to advance. 12th seeded Hayden Penattiere also advanced*
*Apparently I was in denial about her hotness due to her role in one of my favorite movies, Remember the Titans
-Four women scored over 90%, with 3 of them coming from the sports bracket. That probably has more to do with the lack of quality competition. Third seeded Maria Sharapova won the most lopsided of all the first rounded matchups (against Kerri Walsh).
-There were no shutouts in the first round. Sure, the odds seem slim for a shutout, but really, I still can't see how anyone would choose Annie Duke over Marissa Miller. To each his own I guess. that's what makes the competition interesting.

Continued great work. How did you break the tie between Knightley and Hudson? I assume you just advanced the higher seed? Or was my vote for Knightley the tie-breaker? :D
I'm still predicting that Hayden P is going to come out of the TV region, she should win this round and will wipe the floor with the over-rated Longoria. Why aren't we gambling on this again?

ya, I went with the higher seed, of course, that could potentially lead to problems in the final four, but we will cross that bridge when it comes

well, for two reasons,
1.) if i saw everyone's brackets then I would already know how the competition would play out and it wouldn't be much fun
2.) if anything was at stake, I don't think it would happen, but you don't want anyone creating another user name just to get a vote their way
