Default Talib vs Rogers-Cromartie in Drills

I was able to watch some of the DB workouts this morning. I am amazed at how people can have Talib ranked higher than Rogers-Cromartie. Cromartie had outstanding footwork, fluid hips, smooth transitions and good ball skills. He looks like a lanky guy, but looking at some film breakdowns they did, the kid can pop.

Talib on the other hand looked atrocious today. Watching him swiveling his hips was like watching Tyrone Biggums chase an Impala. His breaks weren't smooth at all. I thought he was a pretty decent player, but I guess it was mostly ball skills I was seeing in games. I just can't see how a high-level college corner could possibly be that akward in transition...

I saw Talib too, you're right. I'd be happy with a few of this years CBs if the Pats took them. Even Flowers, though slow today, still intrigues me. I love having hitters on defense and that kid is a hitter. Wonder what Mayock's gonna say about his poor performance today...

Cro looked good enough in the senior bowl, but seeing what transpired today I want linebackers, early and often.

It doesn't say what's the best team, which has the most talented players, which teams has the biggest payroll, smallest payroll. It stands for the team that played the best in that season. Put the number on there for that year. And the next year we start all over again everybody is at the same point."

He's 6" taller than Hobbs and a lot faster. Cromartie will be a top 15 pick.

Cro has cemeted himself clearly as the best corner in this draft, I hope BB feel the same way. Deion Sanders couldn't stop talking about him.

Forget the competition question Cromartie can play on any level, the kid is an absolute athletic freak, a NFL stud for years to come, BB this is Asante's replacement.
