well, I know a European lady who request that her male quests sit while
peeing. Her reasoning is that it is healthy because nothing splatters on the
floor. Everyone is different. I respect her reasoning. Japanese people are
very clean people from what I have observed from several trips. Maybe this has something to do with it.
There are other reasons particular to the culture.

I pee standing up and i leave the bathroom clean after i peed ( buy cleaning products ), it's only pigs who are dirty , and i will never change and nobody will change me, because it is an Unatural thing for me to do.
