Default Paul Pierce a Giant's fan?

I didn't see this posted. I apologize if it already has, but I just saw the highlights on NESN Sports Desk where some of the guys in green were congratulating some Giants players for making it to the Super Bowl. I don't really find it to be a big deal, but have to say it is a little weird to see. What do some of you think?

Since when is being a Patriots fan a prerequisite for being a Celtic. I know Brady took crap for wearing a Yankee's hat.

Most of the players are not from New England, it is okay for them to root for non-Boston teams

If I met any of them I'd congratulate them too. It doesn't make me a fan. I have no problem with Brady wearing a Yankee cap either. But Schilling showing up for a TV interview like this:

Days before the Pats were to play them in an AFCC game has always been unforgivable to me.

Remember Schil w/the Pitt jersey!?

Also, Brady's Yankees hat pales in comparison to his wallet chain and man purse, seen on separate occasions.
