I lived in Las Vegas for 4 years and my only income was from poker. Does that count?

Oh I see you said on-line. I'm telling you straight up I don't care what anyone says ALL on-line poker is rigged. I have over 2 mil in play chips on Pokerstars but, I would never play for real money against that stacked deck.

Holdem is very difficult but i play only Heads Up Pot Limit Omaha hi/lo sit n gos and ive never had a losing month you can win at that game... holdem, is pretty difficult though b/c everyone thinks they know how to play and it's too simple of a game to get a big enough edge.....

Watch this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TLPms2bHo9g I love playing Omaha hi-low but it's a bit like the 9 ball of poker. You can win just by being lucky. For example you play A2K7 (a good low hand and hi hand) but the board comes 773K9. No low hand and you didn't pair the A but you still have the best high hand and take the whole pot.

When observing the high stakes cash games i never see the same seat win the majority of the money. And you can make the argument look better especially if the best player is in "the seat". I just think that online you see so many more hands an hour. I've had probably 10 royal flushes in playing for 4 years and never had one live. i've had dozens of straight flushes and hundreds of quad hands. It's just how much time you spend playing online. It is frustrating though. I just recently moved up to the $100 sit n gos and i've been running horrid. it's that much more frustrating in plo8 heads up. It's like you never had a chance to win. That's b/c the variance is frickin nasty online. i don't believe that you honestly feel like it's rigged.

Oh but, I do.
They set up hands to make people bet big (big pots equal big rakes). Whether it's dealing pocket pairs to multiple seats at once ![]() ![]() Or setting up 2 lower stack players on the flop only to once again hand it to someone on the river. ![]() They stack the deck. I've literally played 1000s of hours at poker tables in Vegas and at Foxwoods and I can clearly see the difference from a real deck and a real deal and what you see on-line.

But. These hands you show are what, 3 or 4 hands out of an entire session? There are so many more hands per hour that this is more likely to happen online than live. Just like if you roll the dice more times an hour than i do, you are more likely to have it land on snake eyes. You've seen coolers live and hands with 4 people having pocket pairs haven't you? I have. Also, what does a poker site have to gain by rigging the deck? as long as the site is running, they are constantly bringing in the rake. Why risk it by fixing games? Just to make a little more? Now some sites have been "hacked". A kid who worked at Absolute poker hacked into the system and was able to see everyone's hole cards. He got busted on the 2plus2 forum pretty much. Everyone was complaining about the same guy making hero calls with 9 high and eventually more and more people came out saying the same thing... an investigation was launched, and he was busted.

Stacking a deck makes for bigger plays, and acts as protection for awful players. No one lets go of AK, pocket Queens, Kings, etc. People play those, and if you have more of those hands, you get more action. More action means bigger play, and in tournaments, faster play. You're more liable to slash stack sizes, or get more all-in's if you have strong hands playing each other more often. A table full of 7-deuce & Jackson-5 isn't going to net you a lot of money, and isn't going to end a sit-n-go in an hour. The more games the more dough, the more abundance of strong hands, the more action.
