I don't think I got this psyched even during the Super Bowl years. This is really exciting. What a helluva season this team has given to us fans.

Thank you, Patriots...you are the best there is and ever has been.

They just did a roundtable discussion with Schefter, Peter King and some NY sports reporter. Schefter asked the NY guy if what happened with the video scandal should effect Bill's chances at COY. Of course, he said well I think it has to...cheating...the children...

The interesting thing was King cut him off and said he IS one of the 50 AP voters and while he will consider what happened he's thought a lot about it lately and his two candidates are McCarthy and Belichick, and today he is leaning towards Belichick. The vote will be held Monday.

Well...I did cap a couple Miller Lites...presently attacking some baked beans and pork chops...bride might want to sleep in the spare bedroom tonight.

Bloody Mary mix is steeping in the fridge. An hour and a half until game time.

i dont get king. he is a decent writer, but he absolutely tried to HANG bill after spygate. in the past few months though, he has had nothing but praise for bill and the team, and has written several articles to that affect. i think maybe he was just using spygate to get attention and advance his career, as collinsworth seems to have followed the same path.

Great summary of what the NY guy said. That's what it sounded like to me too.

It will be a big accomplishment. But I just can't get psyched about this until they win the Superbowl.

it would be embarassing to lose in the playoffs and be 16-0 in regular season.

With all said...I'm looking forward to a Giant crushing

Good for Garo. The first Dolphin I've heard to give an honest, but acceptable answer: "Yes, I want them to lose one, they can win the rest."

I have no problem with this answer.

In fact, if the Pats go 19-0 this year, and some team is 12-0 in 2015, and they trot out some of these patriots after they are retired, I would have no problem with the same answer. The key is to stop talking after that. There's nothing else to say -- no rancor, no bitterness, just an honest answer.
