In YOUR opinion, any player that can come in next year and make a impact?
Forget about McFadden please for a minute. Unless we draft a Defensive Stud that will be making some kind of contribution by midseason I want to trade down. We need some LB's and another impact player on defense, We have some old players on D, Your thoughts? |

The only defensive player that I can see the Pats drafting without moving down would be Chris Long. He is a beast of a passrusher and has the build to become one of BBs OLB/DE hybrids. While Dorsey may or may not be available, I don't see the Pats taking him, due to the amount of money we already have dedicated to the D-Line. Then again, Long is a D -Lineman, although he appears to possess the potential to become a versatile defensive stopper at both the DE and OLB positions.

Gholston or Malcolm Jenkins could be but it's just too early to say yet. The combine/workouts, etc, will move guys all over.
