Welcome to Gillette

FOXBOROUGH -- Welcome to Gillette Stadium, where the Patriots host the Eagles tonight (8:15 p.m.).

The temperature is currently in the low 40s and it is clear. It is expected to drop to the mid-30s by kickoff, with a light wind. There is no precipitation expected tonight.

From a media standpoint, there continues to be a large national contingent following the Patriots. Among those media outlets expected to be present in the press box tonight are USA Today, the Washington Post, New York Times, New York Post, New York Daily News, ESPN.com, SI.com, NFL.com, CBSSports.com, ESPN the Magazine and NBCSports.com.

The Seahawks and Ravens have advance scouts scheduled to be in attendance. The Eagles host the Seahawks next week, while the Patriots visit the Ravens.

Gene Steratore's crew has been assigned to work tonight's game.

Guitarist Gary Hoey, of Lowell, Mass., will perform the national anthem. As part of halftime contests, five fans will receive Victoria's Secret gift cards from model Selita Ebanks. Four wins will win gift cards to new Patriot Place retailers Bed Bath & Beyond and the Christmas Tree Shops.

We'll have more throughout the night.

4 more hours.

Damn this wait.

In other news, Arizona just went up 7-0 on the 49ers.

I've made a lot of bets that'd we'd cover the spread tonight, so I'll be watching the game as Eagles 25 Pats 0 at kickoff.

I wish I had that remote from the movie 'Click' where you could speed up time. Yes, we get to see this game live tonight across the pond incase you pondered about my impatience.

I just hope we get out of this game alive

You are forgetting one of the Eagles other threats Kevin Curtis. A very good slot receiver. Who will be covering him??

I would love to see big nights from Maroney and Watson.

A Chad Jackson catch or 2 would be nice to see.

Along with that I'd like to see the D pitch a shutout.
