I hadn't seen anyone post this yet so here it is.

Man I am really pumped for this game!
I think the Pats are going to kick the Colts butts all over the field!
Woo, this game can't come fast enough.

Brady vs Manning, Good vs Evil, whatever.
I think the hype is starting to get to me!

Key matchups today imo:

1 - Freeney vs Light
2 - AD vs Clark/Utecht
3 - Moss vs Colts Secondary

Both Addai and Maroney will get theirs but I think the passing game will be key for both teams.

The Pats only wear blue when the home team chooses white. The few teams who regualarly wear white at home are the Cowboys, Redskins, and Dolphins. And very early in the season some teams (like the Jets this year) will choose white because of the heat.

Well the battle of unbeatens is about to start. 8-0 vs 7-0. If the Pats beat the Colts today, can we start to seriously talk about going undefeated??

Not many Defensive PI calls, but league leading in Offensive PI calls (watch the hands Randy). Not many Illegal contact calls either... should be an interesting passing day.

Wow, Tom Jackson is such a bitter SOB. Emmitt and Keyshawn were talking about how the Pats are trying to improve etc., every week, and Jackson keeps mumbling under his breath "Cheating....videotaping....cheating."

I can't believe this guy.

And Ditka says that the PAtriots are trying to be America's team, but they never will be because no one likes them outside of Boston.

This show is a joke.

That's just stupid. I don't think the Patriots have ever pretended to be America's team. We leave that bit of arrogance to the cowpokes. And Ditka is just a bitter has been. He will be long remembered for throwing his draft away to take Rickey "pothead" Williams.

Why is Tom Jackson so bitter?
Didn't he play under Shanahan, a guy who openly spoke of some of the signal stealing techniques.

I'm starting to wonder if concussions aren't a more serious problem than what is talked about in the media. It seems Young & Jackson are showing signs of dementia.

I'm surprised. I thought it would have been more even. There's been all this talk about how it's the "greatest test that the Patriots have face all year." Well perhaps I'm missing something, but isn't this the biggest test that the Colts have faced all year too? I can definitely see this being a close game, but if the Pats get ahead early and have some good defensive stops of the Colts (which I think is possible seeing that Harrison is back in the secondary after missing the last three games against the Colts), it might get to be a Pats blowout.

Welcome to Indy
By Mike Reiss, Globe Staff

INDIANAPOLIS -- Welcome to the RCA Dome, where the Patriots (8-0) visit the Colts (7-0) today in a highly anticipated matchup.

Because of the media demand for this game, the Colts have set up two auxiliary press areas underneath the RCA Dome for overflow members of the press. There are also tables in the back of the press box that are overflow seating. From that media perspective, this is a playoff-like feel inside the dome.

Walking through the downtown area Satuday night and Sunday morning, one could feel the excitement building for this clash. Yet when compared to the buzz of the Patriots-Cowboys game in Dallas on Oct. 14, it was surprisingly a bit more reserved here.

The Bills, Eagles and Chargers are scheduled to be represented by pro scouts today in the press box. The Colts visit the Chargers next week, and the Patriots have their off weekend before a trip to Buffalo.

John Parry, a first-year referee, gets the call today. Parry spent his first seven seasons as a side judge and worked Super Bowl XLI in that capacity.

We'll plan on filing updates throughout the day.

On a completely unrelated note, is Mike Reiss like really, REALLY short? He was doing a live spot w/ Alice Cook on the pregame show, and they were like the same height.

Alice Cook is like 5'2". Maybe she was standing on a milk crate.

I'll agree with that. Is Ugoh out? I thought he was going to play. Regardless Ugoh or his backup will need double team help against Seymour or he will be shoved right back into Peyton's lap. The Pats have the advantage with their front 7. Pressuring Manning is a key to this game for sure.

A few thoughts before I head out to the sports bar for this game.

Does everyone honestly believe that the Colts cornerbacks are the best in the league. The way people talk about that defense you think that they have probowlers back there. Doesn't the Colts defense usually play from ahead and they know what the opposing offense is going to do most of the time? Pass the ball. Only this season they aren't 3 TD's ahead just 10-14 points. Are we really expected to think that these second year players can stop some of the best wideouts in the league? Who have they faced so far? Tennessee and Jacksonville's wideouts don't even come close to the talent level of the Patriots.

Can Polian have hit paydirt on ALL his draft picks? Isn't that impossible? But that's what the media is essentially saying about the new players on this defense.

Go Pats!

Does everyone honestly believe that the Colts cornerbacks are the best in the league. The way people talk about that defense you think that they have probowlers back there.

The Colts 2 starting cornerbacks are - Kelvin Hayden and Marlin Jackson.

Scouting reports:
Hayden is in his 3rd year, 2nd round pick #60 overall from 2005 draft
http://www.nfl.com/players/kelvinhayden/profile?id=HAY034606

Jackson is also in his 3rd year, 1st round pick # 29 overall from 2005 draft
http://www.nfl.com/players/marlinjackson/profile?id=JAC399489

They each are 6' tall so they match up well to tall wide receivers.
The Colts investment in their secondary is starting to pay off.
Perhaps this was why they were willing to let both of their starters leave to free agency.

But make no mistake, Bob Sanders is the real playmaker in that defense.
Hayden and Jackson have played containment roles in the Colts Cover 2 scheme.
They are not ballhawks like Samuel who will force a lot of turnovers.
So far in the year they only have 2 total interceptions between the two of them.

I believe that the Pats CAN throw on these corners. If Bob Sanders is forced to drop back to prevent the deep ball, that will take him away from the line of scrimmage and allow Maroney to gash the Colts D.
There are just too many weapons on the Pats to defend, especially now that Watson is back to complement Welker, Moss, and Stallworth.

Ugoh is OUT......... So is Harrison.

They'll likely have to keep TE help in to block (or Manning gets killed). This changes their offense A LOT.

Also, rumor is Freddy Keiaho is out too. That does not help them either.

Watson on field
By Mike Reiss, Globe Staff

It is still a good 2 hours and 30 minutes before kickoff but TE Benjamin Watson, in shorts and a long-sleeve t-shirt, is on the RCA Dome field jogging.

Watson, who has missed the last two games with a left ankle injury, is questionable on the injury report. He spent some time speaking with tight ends coach Pete Mangurian, and then began catching passes.

Marvin Harrison and LT Tony Ugoh are both inactive for the Colts.

He didn't practice all week. Also out: CB Michael Coe, DB Brannon Condren, LB Tyjuan Hagler, LB Freddie Keiaho, DT Quinn Pit****, and WR Craphonso Thorpe. Anthony Gonzalez will start at wide receiver. Look for the Patriots to attack new LT Charles Johnson.

Harrison mainly playing NB so far. I'm guessing Sanders and Meriweather deep.
