[Karma-free zone]
It's going to be something along the lines of 42-3 or 45-7. The "vaunted" Redskins secondary (which is as overrated as, well, Dallas' whole team) can't cover for 7 seconds. Their front 4 can't rush, and their linebackers are old re-treads, (Including Marcus Washington, who the Colts couldn't find use for, and London Fletcher, who is 114 years old and 5'4", I think). Also, Jason Campbell is a joke of a QB, with only 4 TDs and 5 INT in the first 7 games.

Bottom line:

- The Redskins cannot pass, save for Cooley. Thomas should handle him fine.
- The Redskins cannot run; especially since the Patriots will be stacking the line daring Jason Campbell (of the 57% completion percentage) to beat them. Redskins WRs have exactly 0 TD's this season.
- The Redskins cannot score. A fluke play here or there may net them 3 or 7.
-The Redskins cannot defend the run. I cannot stress to you just how terrible the Redskins' front 4 is. Abysmal, God-awful...I think that gives you an idea. Patriots backs will find the second level, and then just need to put a move on one of the old, re-tread RBs to get to the 3rd level (and watch the "impressive" tackling of the Redskins vaunted secondary). All day. Maroney, Faulk, Evans, Eckel, Hell, Seau could get a couple carries.
-The Redskins cannot defend the pass. Fred Smoot could be the most overrated CB this side of Terrence Newman. Remember Brady making Smoot his personal ***** in Minnesota last year? Chad Jackson's career game? Yeah. Carlos Rogers is banged up. Shawn Springs is nearly 77 years old, and his mind will be elsewhere, he's had a loss in his family recently. LaRon Landry is playing well for a Rookie.....but he's a Rookie. Sean Taylor is the NFC's answer to Polamalu and Sanders. Makes OMG BIG HITS~!, but...can't cover worth a crap. Ben Watson will have a humongous game early.

So, the Patriots can run and pass at will, stop the run and stop the pass at will. Why is this supposed to be a close game again?

Patriots 45 Washington 7 [/karma free zone]
It'll be ugly kids.

I fully expect to see Laurence Maroney with at least twenty rushes today against two deep safeties.

well i sure as hell hope you are right.

I would love to see Maroney run wild on this team.

It would make the game easier and would make the media find something else to try and make this team look weak.... instead of saying we can't run.

Man we are just not getting any respect. Dime/ Nickel packages can slow down your 3/4 receiver sets. But we are screwed when you line up 5 wide haha. I expect to see Fletcher backing in the zone a lot but paying attention to the run. We have great cover LBs I am pretty excited.

but the thing is, it doesn't matter how many guys you drop into coverage b/c Brady will have all day to pick you apart.

It has to be really frustrating for other teams to figure out how to stop the pats , b/c i wouldn't have the slightest clue what to do if i was them.

We have rarely blitzed and only sent our front for 80+% of the time, and that has yielded 16 sacks in 6 games.

Yes, but also you have to realize we have a pretty good Dline. In fact it was ranked ahead of NE's by the ESPN advanced scouts.
