I'd say a little bit of both. This is the first REAL test Ryan has faced this year, you could argue Georgia Tech was a good defense but nothing like VT.

There's still a quarter and a half left. I'm a BC student (abroad for the year), so this is pretty miserable right now...

You can carve the RIP on the headstone of Ryan's Heisman bid, though. And, if this keeps up, any hope he had of being a 1st rounder.

It's not all his fault. BC's wide receivers are terrible, and have been for as long as I can remember. They can't get open, and when they finally do, they drop any balls they're thrown. Who was the last respectable receiver to come out of BC? Tom Waddle, back in like 1989? Will Blackmon had hands of stone and was a natural defensive back, but at least was better than any of the junk they're trotting out right now.

You have to love the process of scouting and you have to love the monster that is the NFL draft.

Classic scenario where you claim he lost 1st round status but in that same game he re-earned that privelage. Too funny, kind of like how players climb and slide in the weeks leading up to the draft without even working out, playing a game or anything for that matter.

AWESOME! HAHAHAHA. I was going crazy when Callender scored the last TD. Matt you played very bad all game but man those last two drives were brilliant. VERY CLUTCH. Great defense too, keeping us in the game until the end.

I couldn't get over that last touchdown pass. Ryan scrambled around for like 30 seconds and threw across his body for the a wide open Callender... it was a one of the better game winning TD's I've seen.
