New poster, didn't see a lot of posts in this forum.
Wishful thinking, but if this team gets solid goaltending from the Fernandez/Thomas combo, coaching thats expected from Julien. Good seasons from Bergeron, Sturm, Chara, Murray, Savard and the rest of the crew. I could see them sneaking in at the 8th spot.
If the team does everything of the opposite from what I said in my previous post, I see them finishing anywhere from 10 to 14th in the Eastern Conference.

6th-8th if Murray stays healthy and Julien coaches well, the higher end of the spectrum if Bergeron and Kessel produce alot and Chara steps up like he didn't last year; 9th-13th if nothing falls into place.
I think Schaefer for Donovan was one of the best moves of the summer; Schaefer gives the Savard-Murray tandem the guy who's good along the boards and will muck in corners for a puck, something that's been missing since Knuble left. Getting Fernandez? Maybe a good move, remains to be seen whether Kalus turns into something special or not (I personally think he will).

I seriously don't think they are going to come back this season and make the playoffs. If they do make the playoffs they might just squeek in and get that 8th seed. There are a lot of teams in the Atlantic Division that are going to be much better than last year.

Top five......in revenue.See Danny Boy, everything you say about Kraft is true about the Bruins... but I would think you'd be smart enough to realize the difference between the two organizations...

Hows this, who gives a #@$@!
I wish fans would stop supporting this team, maybe then we might actually see them care again someday!
