As you know the draft is Friday at 7:30 PM. Please try to show up early.

What is the java app of which you speak? I ran the test they have on the website and it said it was successful. I assume that means I'm all set. Am I missing something?

OK. I tested it again and it said it was successful (again). However, when I click on "enter the live draft," a blank screen pops up. Hopefully, this will clear up in a minute.

It is unfortunate that you two ran into technical difficulties.
We missed you guys on draft day.
If it's any comfort I'm pretty sure that Nefan12345 got a bulletproof team picked for her by the computer.
Sometimes it's better to be lucky than good?
I know you would likely still have preferred to pick your own team though. ;)
Luckily none of you were forced to take Michael Vick if that's any comfort.

I just looked at my team - not good at all!

The computer picked the following for me:

1st - Joseph Addai. OK, not a bad pick.

2nd - Ronnie Brown. Are you kidding me? This is a league where 2 QBs play and Brady and Palmer were still on the board. It's a no-brainer to grab one of those two. If I were going to pick a RB there, it wouldn't have been Ronnie Brown. Henry, Portis and McGahee would all have been better picks.

3rd - Edge. Now this is getting silly. Another RB. Palmer, Brees and Bulger were still on the f-in board.

4th - TJ How's your momma - NO QB AGAIN. Ridiculous. Also, why would one take TJ before Lee Evans or Boldin?

5th - Driver. At this point, we know the computer wants me to lose badly. NO QB AGAIN. Donald f-in Driver. Unbelievable.

I could go on, but you get the point. I could see if I didn't show up, but I was there early, tested the system several times and it said everything was successful.

Bottom line: I got screwed royally. I'm a man of my word though, so I will do my best with the limited team I have.

You can start add/drop right away. Sorry to hear about your technical difficulties. There are still some good players you can pick up to round out your roster.

Congrats to SaCaChArisHorrid@FF on an astonishing comeback. You started the season 0-2, but with 5 straight fantasy wins you now stand tied for 2nd at 5-2. Who woulda thunkit? :cool:

Just a reminder that the Trade Deadline is creeping up. All trades must be completed by Friday, November 16th. If you want to shake up your roster before the stretch, you better make your trade offers and counteroffers before then.

Current league leaders - The Shockers at 7-2 and Victory is Mine at 7-2. We have 6 teams over .500 though so this season is FAR from over and it is still anyone's game!

Addai: Pretty good selection
Brown: Great selection until he got hurt
Edge: having a great year
TJ: having a great year

Only 4 teams will make the playoffs but there are 7 teams in the thick of contention! A win by a 6-6 team and a loss by a 7-5 team will really muddy up the playoff picture! Fantasy Owners, get ready, the next 2 weeks are crucial in determining who makes the playoffs!

There are 2 playoff berths still in contention.
Theoretically if Pats Fanatic drops a game and SacachArisHorrid@FF and Maroney's Dreds both win, then 2 of them will make it in, the tiebreaker will be decided on points.

Pats Fanatic can control his destiny by winning out in week 14.

Now if both of the 7-6 teams lose and both of the 6-7 teams win, ONE of these 4 teams will make it into the playoffs based on the total points scored tiebreaker.

Buckle up folks, the fantasy playoffs are far from decided! Week 14, we're burning rubber down to the wire!

OMG Championship game update:

Victory is Mine trails SaCaChArisHorrid@FF by less than 5 points!!
123.93 vs 128.40. BUT Victory is Mine still has their kicker to go!

So if Jason Elam can score just 2 FGs on Monday, victory and the league championship will be mine!
This comes down to the kickers, who woulda thunkit?? Aaaah.

In other news, Maroney's Dreds claimed 3rd place with a resounding victory over The Shockers - 175.50 vs 82.14. No Monday players remain so this score is official.
Congratulations to Maroney's Dreds! The Shockers, you did well too just to make it into the playoffs, so don't feel too bad about the loss. :)
