Are Gay Folks Appropriating Your Stuff?
Alex Beam has a great column in the Globe. Seems as if he has a gay car, etc. according to a recent NY Times article.

Apparently I drive a lesbian car -- Subaru Outback Sport. Now, if a couple of them came up and wanted to get naked and busy in the backseat while I watched, I wouldn't mind all that much.

We talked about this article in the politics forum... I just don't get why Superman is seen as a gay icon... he is married in the comics and has a kid in the movies...
If any superhero is gay, we're talking Batman... he dresses in black leather, took a teen age orphaned boy named Dick to be his special "friend" and they live together with an older English gentleman... no real girlfriend to speak of... Hell, the character Aunt Harriet (most prominently known from that 60's Batman TV show) was invented for the single reason of making Bruce and Dick seem less like homosexuals (that's a true statement). And then about 40 years later those same 2 actors played a gay couple on an episode of Drew Carey... Last edited by QuiGon; 05-05-2007 at 05:41 PM.
