Default Ginn clocks 4.3s in 40-yard sprint for scouts

Looks like Ted Ginn Jr. is back from the championship game injury.

Fantastic - it shows his speed is back and might just push him back up into a top 20 draft pick. (Several mocks had him slipping lately to late first round due to the doubts about the foot injury). His recovery could possibly help the Pats - by having a team that maybe was going to draft a safety, LB or CB instead draft Ginn - freeing up one of those players we need as we are pretty well set at WR.

I know the BPA argument - but last year the Pats first round RB pick was also a need (Maroney), and the year before that, the guard position was also a need due to Andruzzi leaving (Mankins drafted).

Hypothetical and obviously debatable - but that is how I call it. I think Ginns (good) time realistically helps the Pats draft board.

That's a good point. Ginn's good time helps us.

I really don't think it helps him much. His speed/injury hasn't caused him to slip, it's his utter lack of receiving skills that's causing him to slip.

I myself like Ted Ginn Jr. This guy not only has blazing speed but unlike Bethel hes got good moves to match. He would be a nightmare for opposing teams on kickoffs and punts.

I wouldnt be disappointed at all if he was available at #24 and the Pats take him

I don't know how Ginn's performance could help the Pats. Frankly, it helps that Bowe, Jarrett, Meachem and Ginn are all possible first rounders with the off chance that Sidney Rice goes too. Doubt the Vikings waiver from a pick like Landry for Ginn. Maybe a team will want to move up for him, but it might just be a spot or two to get him.

I can see the Eagles taking him, because they have a subpar WR corps and terrible return game for a couple of years now. If they don't, I think he falls into the second round.

You and I both. I know alot of folks here don't like him at 24 but if he's anything close to a Devon Hester he could be a blockbuster type game changer.
