Default McCauley switch to FS=my dark horse of pats draft

think about it, then watch some video on MM. if he were to return to jr yr playing form (who knows what was going on), you'd have a 6-1 205 lb free safety w/ the speed/agility of a corner playing centerfield. not to mention hes known as a great open field tackler.

That's certainly an idea. I've been advocating drafting Fred Bennett or CJ Wilson to make into a FS.

It's not really a new idea, or really a conversion project. McCauley played RCB, LCB, FS, and SS in college.

Why would you want an average free safety when you can have a fantastic CB? Free safeties are supposed to have good hand and create turnovers, McCauley does NOT have good hands, but his coverage skills are second to none. CB is the better fit for him, he is NOT a Jimmy Williams he IS an Antonio Cromartie.

We will be needing the CB more once Asante leaves town... sooner or later.
