Yeah, I've said all along she wasn't dead and Jack would have to go after her. But, I thought perhaps they would make her a villain ala Nina. When the bad guys broke into the CTU network I thought that could be Audrey's work. But, they went the victim/hostage route ala Jack's wife instead.

Actually the line of the night belonged to Agent Doyle, getting on scene and inspecting the carnage: "Damn Jack!"

As far as Audrey, it was spoiled for me as I saw a pre-season review noting that she was in the cast... kindof tough to do if your character is dead.

Suspending disbelief again, I'm sure Dave Barry picked up on the irony of having a new crisis pop its head up within 30 seconds of resolving the first crisis... but that's 24 - the intitial crisis is NEVER the final one and the initial villan is NEVER the final villan either.

How ironic for Fayed though - the guy he forces the US Government to spring out of a Chinese prison where he's been tortured for nearly 2 years winds up being the guy who tortures and kills him and foils his plan.

C'est la vie.

UPDATE: It was a trick missile. I knew we couldn't trust President Gary Payton of Your World Champion Miami Heat to be a homicidal lunatic.

UPDATE: How come sometimes the terrorists speak English to each other, and other times they do not? Hmm?

UPDATE: I keep hoping they'll slip up and name the country they're all talking about.

UPDATE: I think they should let the viewers vote on the target.

UPDATE: A code! Those sneaky terrorist mastermind bastards!

UPDATE: That was a crunchy neck.

UPDATE: These terrorists are horrible shots.

UPDATE: Biting, headbutting AND a chain! AND "Say hello to your brother." THIS is why we watch this show.

and how about the way the terrorists are all carrying AK-47's,RPG's and more,,,,while Jack and the other CTU guys carry only Glocks.

Jack...baby.....might be a good idea to carry at least ONE grenade....might save you some shoeleather.
