Looks like we can have our pick of either of these guys. All of them should fit in our system. Most could be had in early-mid round 2 if we trade down.
The question is, who do you prefer and why? My pick is Anthony Spencer. Big (6'3", 260), decent coverage skills, good pass rusher, solid against the run, experienced and productive in college. Smart kid too. After that I like what both LaMarr Woodley and David Harris bring to the table, though neither seems to be as complete a player as Spencer is. |

I assume you're speculating that the Pats won't be able to swing a trade and will be stuck drafting at 24 & 28 with no favored son falling to them?
The only one of the choices I see fitting the Pats' scheme without making a major transition is Harris - and I'd go OL, RB, WR, or TE first.

I would be more then a little upset if we took Pozlunzy @ 1.24. I just dont like his game.

Mog,
I think he was reluctant because of the knee injury. Poz reminds me of Vrabel. |

I think he is one of the better tacklers in the draft. JMO.
Who would you suggest at ILB? |

i would suggest: Harris and Buster Davis not my favorite LBs but would seem like the best fit Harris - he had a good workout and hes got good size and he hits hard. he plays well against run..coverage needs some work but hes good for the strongside like Ted Johnson-Seau spot Davis - as a Hurricane fan i hated this guy on opening night..hes a very hard hitter, hes a leader and hes very smart as a player. Hes on the short side but hes like a tank short and big |

definitely agree with Harris. the shortness of Davis scares me a bit. is the U going to do anything this year?
