woopee do, today's game against Minnesota was a very good one.. glad to see that these wins are largely team efforts and not a one or two man show as we have been accustomed to lately.

This team is very entertaining...granted they have not been playing the best teams of late. What I like about them is that they play hard and never give up.
Big Al is improving. Gerald Green has such promise. Delonte under pressure against Minnesota was amazing. Paul Pierce took one shot in each overtime.
I really want this team to do well.

Great time to go on a winning streak huh? Win meaningless games near the end of the season and lose the #1 overall pick to Memphis. Lovely. :) Oh well can't really root for em to lose, so whatever. If the Celts fall out of top 3 I think they should just trade the pick for Gasol. The Grizz are trying to dump his salary and he's a talented big man.

Yea, my sentiments exactly. We were doing so well for so long....
Why did Pierce have to come back?

I cannot believe that everyone wants to see this team lose. I understand the need for the first pick. However, I love watching the young kids play hard and hungry.
I still believe they will be in the lottery...they well just not have as many balls in the cage as people had hoped.

If we miss out on getting Durant or Oden because of this, im going to be pissed. Its like the 97 Draft when we missed out on Duncan.

They were playing hard before Pierce came back. They were just losing, too.
I still believe they will be in the lottery...
Any other bold predictions?

Which is a shame.

Tonight's game was excellent. Al Jeff is a monstah. I loved the starting lineup of:
C Perkins
F Jefferson
F Pierce
G Green
G Rondo
This team is about two years away, if we can keep the solid players around (these guys, Gomes, our pick this year).

God, please make them stop winning.

Its really not like that at all. Obviously in a perfect world we get a top two pick and Oden and Durant both come out. But say we get the 3rd or 4th pick Its not going to be that bad. I think their are at least 4-5 all stat caliber players in this draft. Besides Oden or Durant, I would take Spencer Hawes. 18 year old frosh from Washington. He would be the perfect highpost center to compliment Al Jefferson.

Last night was a perfect game. The team is growing and getting better, yet still managed to lose the game.
Has their half-court offense changed or are the players simply running it better? There's more ball movement then I've ever seen on the Doc-run Celts.
I love the lineup with DWest, Green & Ray - the three roam the perimeter (almost looks like a weave) until someone gets open and they exploit it. There's so much less standing around and watching the offense remain stagnant than earlier in the season.
