Default I remember somewhere in the draft forum that....

someone said that Bethel Johnson, Deion Branch, and CJ all did good in the cone drill (or something like that) which showed that Patriots like WRs who can get in-and-out of their cuts quickly. Anyone remember who mentioned that?

I don't remember the post you're referring to but here's what those 3 had in common at their Combines:
  • All 3 ran impressive 10 yd splits, making them quick off the mark.
  • Branch's split was a Combine best. Branch and Jackson had fast cones, but it was Branch's shuttle that blew away everyone at the Combine. The shuttle measures lateral movement and change of direction skills. For a WR, this drill would define the receiver's quickness in and out of his cuts.
  • Bethel did not run a shuttle or cone.
