Optimism was beginning to creep in for the Bruins ... except for the last few weeks where they have perfected the art of the choke. Even in the barley make the playoffs years of Harry Sinden have I ever seen this. winning 2-0 to start the 3rd and then lose 5-2 ... that's horrendous.

Back in my hockey days ... I'm 47 the most important thing was back checking ... these Bruins don't know what that word means.

Last night they let up 3 goals in teh third, lose in SO. Man, it kills me, because it's not like we're a bad team, we have some good pieces, but I guess I haven't realized we're far from complete. I'd say we're a really solid goaltender, maybe anotehr good blueliner, and all-star foward away from kickin' ass. That's probably a lot to ask of our enw GM, but he's got time.

The Bruins can't even play fundamental hockey. My nephew's Squirt team could put on a better show than they can. . .depressing.
