carolinatony is an unknown quantity at this point
Default We made the playoffs but 2007 needs?

We are in the playoffs this year and have a chance to go to the SB but
What are the Top needs next year to stay on top and get better in your opinion? We seem to have our RB but WR is still open.

I think we need another corner, a fast linebacker(either ILB or OLB), and a WR.

Offensive Left Tackle

Cornerback (2 if Asante Samuel leaves)

Middle Linebacker (Also Outside Linebacker If TBC Leaves)

Safety

Wide Receiver

Blocking Tight End (If Daniel Graham Leaves)

If a good young player obtained in free agency subtract from the above.

So often defensive needs are listed ahead of offensive needs. Did we not allow the 2nd fewest points in the NFL? Right now I'm in the mood for:

1A - Trade for Derrick Mason or equivalent (Never take a first-round WR!)
1B - RB Corey's successor. (No, Maroney alone is not it. We need two for the future.) Big, bruising, blitz-blocking, smart.
2 - DB Throw a good one in the mix
3 - NT Wilfork back-up, bigger than Wright. Preferably Hawaiian.
4A - ILB project
4B - TE Keep 'em coming!

My final shopping list won't settle until FA shakes out; an initial shopping list:

LT/OT - NT - CB - TE - RB - WR - S - DE - ILB - OLB - OC/OG - P - QB - FB - STs ace in no particular order.
