I had him pegged as a middle of the road veteran who could be on our short list for ILB. He is an ok to above average player, good for him for cashing in...
$25 M, $10 upfrontm nice. http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/news/story?id=2698942 Len P. lists his teamate Napoleon Harris was much higher rated coming out of college. He could be a possibility but I doubt the Patriots would pay $25 million for an ILB.. If an average LB gets this kind of money no way Samuel gets less than $30. |

Not sure why this is in the draft forum, but whatever.
Yes, nutty money. I'd still franchise and trade Samuel. Unfortunately there's so many teams way under the cap, even nutty money like this to a bunch of players won't squeeze a lot of teams too tight.
