MIAMI GARDENS, Fla. -- Welcome to Dolphin Stadium, where the Patriots visit the Dolphins today (1 p.m. ET).

The current temperature is 75 degrees. It's partly cloudy and windy. The wind looks like it could be a factor in the passing game today.

We'll plan on passing along updates throughout the day. For those watching on TV, Dick Enberg and Randy Cross will broadcast the game on CBS.

Familiar face

Chris Grier, who worked in the Patriots' scouting department from 1994-1999, was spotted on the edge of the field, chatting with Patriots president Jonathan Kraft.

Grier is a national scout/assistant director of college scouting for the Dolphins. He is now in his seventh season with Miami.

Grier is the son of Bobby Grier, the former Vice President of Player Personnel for the Patriots. Bobby Grier is currently the Associate Pro Personnel Director with the Houston Texans.

Also, advance scouts from the Jaguars and Bills are in attendance today. The Dolphins face the Bills next week, while the Jaguars host the Patriots on Dec. 24.

Sorry Edge, guilty as charged - I just felt I was doing my part for the group to post some "news" that was reported.

I actually feel BB stays here for a very long time, for as long as he wants to and no way will the Kraft's let him go anywhere but the Patriots front office if he so desires.

As for today...I think we win by at least 10 points, ....GO PATS!!!!!!!!!!!!

You're cool, you weren't even the one I was thinking about. I just can't stand idle speculation. Kinda like that Randy Moss trade to the Pats not long ago.
