View Full Version : NFL Stadiums - Which ones have you been to?
I'm curious to hear which stadiums you've seen and what you liked/disliked about them.
Other than Gillette I've only been to see the Pats play the Arizona Cardinals at Sun Devil Stadium. It had metal bleacher seats just like the old Foxboro stadium, but the upper level was incredibly steep and the concessions were terrible (watered down beer..etc.) I guess it works for college, but a crappy place for a Pro team. Looks like the new stadium is pretty nice.

Ralph Wilson - Buffalo [like it a lot, old school stadium, lots of character]
Bank of America - Carolina [nothing necessarily notable other than it's in downtown Charlotte]
Reliant Stadium - Houston [it's blasphemy to say this, but kind of cool for a dome]
Super Dome - New Orleans
[b]Cleveland Browns Stadium - Cleveland [no frills, but I love the design, keeps the noise in well]
Fedex Field - Washington [fairly mundane stadium, loud though]
Pro Player Stadium - Miami [not too bad, tailgating in the grass lots makes it worth it]
Baltimore Memorial Stadium - Baltimore [it's defunct now, but was a fun place to watch a game, you were super close to the action there - saw Bledsoe's Pats beat Testeverde's Ravens there in '96]
All incarnations of the Patriots' stadium - Schaefer, Sullivan, Gillette

Gillette Stadium (Patriots): My home away from home. It is what it is. Comfortable but not intimate enough.
Foxboro Stadium (Patriots): Trying to get to the restroom was a death-defying feat. But it was a fun place to watch a game and the noise level trumped Gillette.
Ralph Wilson Stadium (Bills): Pretty utilitarian place, nothing special to recommend it. Seems to lack character. Concourses are dark, concessions generic, only one big screen. The big plus is they let you hang around down close to the field while teams are warming up no matter where your seats are.
Soldier Field (Bears): I went there a bunch of times before the rehab; had more seats in the end zones than along the sidelines back then. The pillars on the east side were cool. Great fans.
Metropolitan Stadium (Vikings): Long gone ... A baseball park, but fun, intimate place to watch a football game.
Old sombrero (Buccaneers): Also defunct, nothing special.
Reliant Stadium (Texans): Was there for Super Bowl 38. Very impressive place, one of the best I've seen. Big roomy concourses, great eats and drinks, excellent sight lines.
FedEx Field (Redskins): I liked it. Stands seem close to the field and holds noise well.
Alltel Stadium (Jaguars): Was there for Super Bowl 39. Big, generic stadium. Concourses got jammed big-time, kind of uncomfortable place with little character.
Giants Stadium (Jets/Giants): Good place to see a game, great sight lines. For a big stadium it seems kind of cozy. Concessions are basic.
Baltimore -- forget what it's called now (Ravens): Cool place, built for football only. Modern, comfortable, intimate, with big concourses and nice eats/drinks. Fans are really enthusiastic.
Heinz Field (Steelers): Good place to watch a game. Steelers fans are maniacs, and very loud. Stadium is kind of ugly with all those yellow seats.

Husky Stadium in Seattle (when the Kingdome was blown up) Typical college stadium - loud and a great place to watch a game.
Q'West Field - lots of people love it out here on the west coast. It is nice, hate the field turf - loud, tonnes of amenities. Am so excited that the Pats are out here for an exhibition next summer. My first opportunity to see the Patriots live. I live approx. 2 hours to the north, just over the Cdn. border. The bottom bowl is super close to the action. The upper bowl has rows and rows of seats I believe 50 rows from the start of the upper bowl to the very top. Saw Bledsoe throw the Cowboys game away last year.

Gillette Stadium - once, hoping for another next year.
Old Cleveland Stadium - dozens of times in the '80s in high school.
New Cleveland Stadium - for their return game in '99.
LA Coliseum - when the Raiders were there.
Jack Murphy Stadium in San Diego.
That's about it. With a 6 and 8 year old my wife and I don't get around as much as we'd like.

I was also at a game at Fenway Park years ago. What a psycho place for a football game with all its weird angles and dimensions! I could swear a punt almost caromed off the Green Monster. ROFL
Also, Candlestick Park and Stanford Stadium (49ers).

Sadly I've only been to ones that no longer exist: Three Rivers in Pittsburgh, Memorial Stadium in Baltimore and Sullivan.
The best thing about all of them, frankly, is that they've been replaced.

1. Old Sullivan Stadium back in 70's. Brutal fans..got in one fight too many so quit going.
2. 3 Rivers Stadium, Pittsburgh. Good place to watch a game. Saw 96 playoff game with Pats Pet Carroll and Bledsoe.
3. Heinz Field. Wicked loud!! Saw two Pat games..Hollaween massacre and 2005 regular season.
4. Ralph Wilson. No frills..like the "Ford Escort" of football stadiums but really good place to watch a game. Been there twice and enjoyed both times. Would recommend going.

Foxboro (season tickets, long time ago)
Soldier's Field (a couple pats/bears games)
U of I football stadium (Bears/Pats 02' game)
49ers stadium (04')
Raiders stadium (04')
Lambeau (02' preseason game against Browns, both teams scored 40+)
and that's it i think.

I've been to:
Old Foxboro - benches were crappy and cold (and a problem for a woman smushed between a bunch of guys bundled up for the winter), but being close the to field was great.
Gillette - seats are more comfortable, but fans are too far away from the field, affecting crowd noise and ability to see the game; also even though it looks good on tv, it's not really that nice a stadium; still a dim concrete block without enough bathrooms underneath.
Superdome, NO - old stadium that was falling down in 2001, but site lines were still good even from up in the rafters (we sat 3 rows from the top on the goal line where Ty Law ran it in for the TD).
Reliant Stadium, Houston - the best NFL stadium I have been to; bright, plenty of bathrooms and concessions; even sold wine and mixed drinks (these things are important to us girls). Got stuffy when they closed the roof because of the threat of rain.
Giants Stadium/Meadowlands - another old stadium, but they have seats and crowd is close to the field. They let the kids come right up to the field/players before the game.
RCA Dome/Colts Stadium - old with metal benches in the upper deck where I sat. Got incredibly loud. The thing I liked about it was its location. Picture putting Gillette in the middle of Fanueil Hall - lots of bars and restaurants; no need to tailgate outside (unless you wanted to).
Ralph Wilson Stadium, Buffalo - again an old stadium (metal benches w/ backs were I sat); most like the old Foxboro Stadium; liked the "feel" of the game here.
My overall impression of these stadiums is, although the newer ones offer you a more comfortable seat, you give up being close to the action. There is nothing like a good football game in an old stadium where the crowd is sitting (or screaming) close. Too bad they couldn't just add a row of corporate boxes to the top of the old places so they could get their revenues and we fans could get our football experiences!
Edit - Went to Alltel too; not equipped to handle a full capacity crowd; bathrooms didn't work on one side of stadium and concessions ran out of food

FedEx field in Washington- I hate it. Been 3 times
Bank of America Stadium- Beautiful stadium. The two big Panthers at the entrance are amazing. Been twice
Alltel Stadium (2002 Gator Bowl) It was okay, nothing special. Been once.
Gillette-Of course my favorite. Going for my 4th time December 3rd.

Sullivan Stadium: Caught a regular season game in 86 (31-7 Bengals...boo!), a handful of preseason games in 87 & 88, then one last regular season game in 91 (10-3? Seahawks...boo!) before moving to CA. The metal benches sucked and drunkards from the upper deck would meet their buddies in the lower sections and simply squeeze in. Intimate didn't begin to describe the feeling.
The Big A in Anaheim: Saw the Pats open (1 week late thanks to Hurricane Andrew) the 92 season with a 14-0 loss to the Rams. Crappy multi-purpose stadium, crappy seats, crappy game. Tickets easy to get and great weather, though.
The Murph: Now called Qualcomm, Jack Murphy Stadium was where I saw Bledsoe's first preseason game. I also went back there in 02 to catch the Pats first loss of the year. Another multi-purpose stadium, but not as bad as the one in Anaheim.
Stanford Stadium: Saw the Pats take on the newly-returned Raiders in the last game of the 95 preseason. Glorified high-school stadium...all benches. Had great seats on the 40 yard line about 25 rows up. Parking lot is the woods next door. Attendants make sure you don't hit trees on the way in. The stadium underwent a huge renovation this spring so now it has chairs (and a lot smaller capacity).
Candlestick Park: Saw the Pats take on the 49ers in the 98 preseason. Awfully effing hot in the endzone facing the sun all afternoon. Another freaking multi-purpose stadium. No wonder they're threatening to move to Santa Clara. Got my car keyed thanks to the Patriots license plate border. I thought that only happened in Oakland. Wine and cheese crowd my arse.
Oakland Coliseum: Saw the Tuck Rule Revenge game in 02. For multi-purpose stadiums (what, another?!?), Oakland isn't bad...I catch plenty of A's games every year, especially when the Sox are in town and the football configuration is decent. Aside from some kids sitting behind me calling me every name in the book in spanish (my wife translated for me), the fans were fine. Of course that's easy to say since Oakland won the game. I might have been in trouble if the Pats won (as some vocal Sox fans were after game 5 of the 2003 ALDS). Easy to get to: There's a train stop at the stadium...like taking the T to Gillette.
Gillette Stadium: Caught the New Years Day game vs. Miami last season in a luxury box (pics at http://pg.photos.yahoo.com/ph/chris_in_sunnyvale/my_photos). Beautiful stadium. By far the best football stadium I've been to. Took the T to the game - awesome, since I'm not a big tailgater. Hope to go back.

Sullivan/Schaeffer/Foxboro....multiple times....
Gillette for the Pats Jags playoff game this past January
Meadowlands.....
Philadelphia...Vet but not the Linc...
Qaalcomm...back when it was Jack Murphy
Edward Jones in St. Louis..This past weekend for Chiefs-Rams. First time I saw a game in a dome and it was very different. Low key crowd and family-friendly.
Rich Stadium in Buffalo....back in the 70's when it was an hour plus drive from college

Patriots: Harvard, Alumni, Foxboro and Gillette...I sometimes get downright nostaglic about Foxboro. The seats were uncomfortable (I know that is an understatement). If it rained, it would leak down below. And Deb, I understand the smushed between a bunch of guys...the other problem we had was that 3 very large (and I mean large) gentlemen had the seats next to us. So of course my father put me at seat 1. I ended up with one cheek on and one off.
Miami: the new stadium...whatever it is called.
And that is it.

I saw those guys play on TV, and some other Giants from that era:
Jim Katcavage
Roosevelt Brown
Y.A. Tittle
Emlen Tunnell
Kyle Rote
Dick Modzelewski
The Giants were the second team to be televised into N.E., because of their proximity to N.E., before the Pats were born. Browns were first because they were perennial champions in the 40s and early 50s. Those were the black and white, often snowy TV days, which I'd bet most of our posters never had to watch. http://www.boscovs.com/wcsstore/boscovs/images/store/product/images/295577427cxtv1.jpg

-Seahawks new stadium (great stadium)
-Oakland Collesium (fun place unless you are a liver. Those Oakland fans can DRINK)
-RCA (not bad but not good)
A couple college stadiums that were previously used for NFL games: Husky Stadium and Sun Devil Stadium
I know I am forgetting a couple...
Oh yeah, the Titans place in Nashville. Nice stadium. Great crowd. In the south, the people aren't total drunken jerks. They are still drunk, but they are nice. It's un-American.

I'll probably forget something but... here goes...
Foxboro: Yes it was a dump but I have many fond memories of totally fun times there standing on the bench in front of me banging my feet with my seatmates...
Gillette: yes comfortable and state of the art but definitely not loud enough for my taste...
Don't know the names so I'll say the teams:
Chargers: nothing to write home about... dark in the concourses... reminds me of Fenway under there.
Miami: Go every year.. but have great seats in the endzone so I like it! Also... the weather is right up my alley :-)
Houston: (reg season and SB38) Beautiful and loving the retractable roof depending on the weather.
Minnesota: LOUD! and the stands literally bounce like on springs when the fans jump up and down after a TD while their song plays.
Kansas City: LOUD!! outside but the solid oval keeps in the sound, not to mention the GREAT fans who are Soooo into it. The live band playing the chiefs warcry helps to keep them up.
ATlanta: One of my favorites!!! Yes, another dome so it's LOUD too but they have a live band totally keeping the crowd up at ALL times... Also the cheerleaders do too and they really work the crowd throughout the game...
Tennessee: Some of the nicest fans in the NFL... also loud even though it's outside.
Arizona: Dump! but no matter since they've got a new one now anyway.
St. Louis: Funny to see people coming to a football game on a Sunday straight from church dressed in their Sunday best..hehe
Heading back for a repeat of Miami and Tennessee this year...

Sun Devil Stadium - awful stadium, but good atmosphere, great tailgating, and a really nice town. Tempe was taken over by Pats fans all weekend long. My first game in the flesh, so will always have good memories.
Bank of America Stadium - excellent location, the best atmosphere of the stadia I've been to. They get a lot of things right here (Carolina climate helps too).
Gillette - expensive, state-of-the art library, and the traffic back to Boston doesn't help. Enough said.

Other than Gillette and the old Foxboro Stadium...(from best to worst)
Reliant Stadium (Houston) - LOVED this stadium. Great views from the seats. Escalators to the upper levels (what a concept). I wish they could move this stadium to Foxboro.
Heinz Field (Pittsburgh) - I liked the Hall of Heroes (or whatever they call it) where they have in the concourse a little museum of the Steelers past. Pretty cool.
Qwest Field (Seattle) - Not much of a tailgating scene in Seattle. Going to a Seahawks game is more like going to a Red Sox game in Boston. People go to the nearby bars before and after the game. Pretty nice looking stadium with pretty large concourses. 70% of the seats are covered if it does rain. Stadium contains crowd noise pretty good for an open air stadium and they have plenty of enthusiastic fans to generate that noise.
Giants Stadium (NY) - Nothing fancy here but good tailgating crowd. Very easy access from the highway. Views weren't that bad for an old stadium.
Alltel Stadium (Jacksonville) - Biggest dump I've ever stepped foot it. Think of it as a slightly modernized Foxboro Stadium. Why they had a Super Bowl here, I have no idea.

Only 2 places at which I've seen an NFL game: Schaefer/Sullivan/Foxborough Stadium, and the Houston Astrodome- September 1984. Opening Day, Oilers vs. Raiders. I was visiting an ex-Marine Corps bro, who was living in Houston at the time. The Oilers stunk then, so we were able to walk up to the box office that Sunday, buy tickets for the upper deck, then sit at the 50-yard line, halfway up. That also happened to be ground level, which I thought was pretty cool, esp. when one considers the climb to reach ground level at Foxborough Stadium, or ice/court level at the Old Garden. The air conditioning at the Astrodome was cool, too, compared to the 90+ degrees outside that day. Basically, it was like watching a game in a giant living room.
P.S.: My first football game of any kind was Boston Latin vs. Boston English at Harvard Stadium on Thanksgiving Day, 1970.

Altell Some visit Meca. I went to the Super Bowl. Too bad it was in such a terrible city. The stadium was nice. They had big park areas where you could eat drink and listen to live music. The bathrooms were out of order and they ran out of food before the game. Totally unacceptable.
Georgia Dome Watched the Pats demolish the Falcons in 2001. 1st trip to a dome. There were about 12,000 Atlanta fans there with several hundred Pats fans who were louder. Terrible sports city.
Shaefer/Sullivan/Foxboro Loved that place. Loud & intimate. Always funny to see how all those large fans could fit on those benches. Bought our bench seats as a keepsake after the stadium was demolished. It wasn't the best by any stretch, but it was OUR stadium.
Gillette It is what it is.
The Vet Was a great place. Crazy, drunk fans. Passion. Loud. The 500 level were some of the best seats. Always a fun game when somebody vomits on you.
The Linc Better than Gillette, but you would expect that since Lurie had public money to work with. Don't like the big jumbotron in the endzone. Too low and distracts you from the action on the field. Great SRO areas to watch the game too. Finally watched the Pats win in Philly back in 2003.
The Meadowlands Alot better than you would think. Couldn't believe how much beer the fans would sneak in to the game back in the day.
Pro-Player Not as nice as I would expect. Escalators were a pain. Only stadium were the visiting fans outnumbered the home fans in certain sections. Eagles fans were louder than the Phins fans.
Invesco Field Wicked nice place. LOUD. They built the place with some "give" so it would rock like the old Mile High would. Fans don't tailgate like they do out east. They are also alot more polite than the fans out east.
Arrrowhead Awesome. Could smelll the BBQ while stuck in traffic 2-miles away. Fans were the nicest I've met. Watched the Pats win on MNF. Head to "The Town Topic" after the game for some great greasy diner food.
Lambeau amazing place. so much history. fans were great. tailgate, eat & drink anywhere you want. park for $5. a must for any football fan

Alltel- I live in Jacksonville, been countless times (not the Super Bowl though) it's not that bad when it's not a big event, but the city can't quite handle one yet.
Georgia Dome- Probably the best indoor stadium in the league. Big, generates lots of noise, not a very good football town unfortunatly, and Braves fans :snob:, but that is a topic for the 'Sox fourm.
Raymond James- Awesome, that big pirate ship is really cool, not great city, kinda like Jacksonville, it's really industrial but in a coastal location so it's kinda weird.
Gillette- It is what it is

Tampa Bay - Tampa Bay VS Carolina
Baltimore - Ravens VS Steelers
Jets/Giants - Giants VS Redskins
Steelers - Did'nt see a game, had a tour though.
Kind of off topic, but Canton Ohio - Football HOF... very nice. Lot's of Pat's exhibits. Went the weekend before this years inducties.
Hopefully I will be able to go to Gillette stadium. I'm a poor college student right now, so I have to wait till next year when they come to the Redskins (Which I don't know if that's true or not.)

PATS GAMES (Record):
Gillette Stadium (3-2) - love having a stadium away from the city, much like a college game; night games are great to watch
Giants Stadium (3-0) - Pats 2nd home, hard to dislike it :)
FedEx Field (0-1) - surprisingly poor venue for its age
Bank of America Stadium (1-1)- great night-game experience
Georgia Dome (1-0) - VERY loud, atmosphere like an NBA game
Heinz Field (1-1) - great football atmosphere, fans may be annoying
Cleveland Browns Stadium (1-0) - not too different from a lot of new stadiums
Lincoln Financial Field (1-0) - best stadium I've been to (fans, another story)
Dolphin Stadium (next month)
LP Field (next month)
NON-PATS GAMES:
M&T Bank Stadium- ok stadium, surrounding area VERY sketchy
ALLTEL Stadium -not a bad seat in the house
Qualcomm Stadium - went to Padres games ages ago, can't remember much

Arrowhead in KC for three Pats games, Panthers, Raiders and Big 12.
Pluses - LOUD; fans are really into the game unless they're getting blown out.
Minuses - Have been cussed out, hit, accosted and seen our fans hit with full cups of beer with no action taken by any stewards.
I'd go back, but I sure won't take my young daughter until she's older.

I have been to the old RFK for a Redskins / Cowboys game, and I went to a Redskins / Eagles game at Veterans stadium. I live in Virginia and all of my buddies are Skins fans so I went as a tag along. IN full PATS Gear mind you. That was quite am experience unto itself. Both stadiums were horrible. Smelly, beat up, uncomfortable and full of very misguided fans that seemed to be rooting for the wrong team. :)

Pats - Gillette, Foxboro, Sullivan, Schaffer Stadium - Love Lot 11
Buffalo - Ralph Wilson (Start tailgating on Friday. The really do that and stay hours after the game) Fans are pretty on edge. Alot like being at the old Foxboro stadium with an opposing jersey on.
Carolina - BOA Stadium. Nothing special. Pretty Easy to scalp tix. Fans are pretty decent people. One of the fans actually bought my buddy a Steve Smith jersey in the stands because he wasn't wearing a jersey. So there I was, the only one for 3 sections wearing a Patriots Jersey.

Gillette: For last Sunday's Pats-Bears game :D
Ford Field: I work for the NFL here in the visiting clubhouse/sideline for some games. I hate the Lions. Being in the winning lockerroom=priceless.
Heinz Field: 2005 AFC Championship game. Best time ever. Getting to go down on the field for the celebration=priceless.
Soldier Field: Back when Dave Terrell was on the Bears, I went to a couple of his games. Rams-Bears; Saints-Bears
Dolphins Stadium: Well, sort of. We played the 2000 Orange Bowl there. Brady: 4 TD passes in OT win over Alabama.
Carolina, San Diego, Seattle, Indianapolis and St. Louis for things other than football.
College Stadiums:
Michigan, Ohio State, Michigan State, Northwestern, Iowa, Indiana, Illinois, Minnesota, Purdue, Wisconsin, Penn State, Notre Dame, Syracuse, UCLA, USC, Washington, Oregon, Tennessee, Florida, Miami, Nebraska, North Carolina, and various others I forget.

Foxboro - I actually miss the old place.
Candlestick - I went to the 1997 NFC Championship game. It was SF vs GB with GB winning. I was out there for a meeting and scalped a ticket. It poured that day. I thought the stadium was great since I had only been to the old Foxboro at that point. Looking back, it was a dump.
Silverdome - Thanksgiving 2000. A third string back up named Tom Brady took the field for mop up duty. Little did I know I was seeing the first action of a future HOF.
Gillette - best stadium I went to.
Alltel - Super Bowl 39. The game was great. The stadiium was OK.
College - Ohio Stadium

Foxboro, but never the Razor.
Sun Devil Stadium. Talk about a pit.
Arizona Cardinals Stadium. Great new stadium. Easy in, out, wide concourses, good food, good sightlines.
RFK. Comfort was a D-. But for an all around football experience back when the Redskins were good? A plus.
Redskins Fed Ex Field. Good stadium. Nothing spectacular. Weird location.
Ravens M&T Stadium. It was several years ago, after it first opened, and I can't really remember a thing about it. So, who knows.
Baltimore Colts Memorial Stadium. Have seen many Orioles games there before Camden Yards, but never any football. Horrible stadium in a horrible place.
Giants Stadium. Never saw a football game, but have seen Bruce Springsteen there a few times. Does that count?

Georgia Dome: Small but nice
Meadowlands: Season Ticket Holder for the Jets
Sun Devil: POS for NFL but really a college stadium
The Old Foxhole: Horrid Stadium
Shea: Old home for the Jets
M&T Stadium in Baltimore: Very Nice Stadium
Qwest Field: The best in the NFL IMPO

I live in Vancouver, canada and I've been to QWEST feild in Seattle to watch the hawks...what a stadium....but nothing comes close to the pleasure of pilgrimaging to Foxborough for the the season opener this year at gillette, there is no better place i have been for a sporting event in my life....

For games:
Foxboro
Gillette
For an off-season field day:
Soldier Field-2 years ago when they were refurbishing it. Outstanding playing surface, wide concours areas with lots of concessions, very comfortable luxury boxes, real neat soldiers & sailors memorial in the southern concours area (as it is so-named). Looks like a UFO landed on top of the old Soldier Field (the new addition isn't to my taste). Nothing to do with football, but it's located in a park area right next to the lake, beautiful grounds & landscaping, and they retained the old architecture. Nicknamed the Stadium in a Park.
It's on my "must see a game in" list.

The old Foxboro: So long as my ass didn't stick to the bleachers in the cold, it was fine. Nothing spectacular.
Bank of America Stadium (Carolina): Decent stadium, but too "bowl" shaped. Nosebleeds have absolute terrible views.
Georgia Dome (ATL): I really hate domes. And it's got a terrible atmosphere.

I had my first NFL live experience here in Atlanta when the Pats played Atlanta in the Preseason... Nice stadium, the fans are respectful, considering I was surrounded by Atlanta fans wearing Brady's jersey. I didn't like all the TV timeouts though, so I don't think I'll ever go to another game. It really slowed the game down... It was a neat experience though... Watching it on TV though is so much better to ME anyways...

Candlestick - I don't care who owns it, it is Candlestick! Weather tends to be bad and it is not in a great part of SF.
Black Hole - better for watching baseball games than football, but I had pretty good seats when I saw the Raiders play and the tickets were free. Fans are pretty wild
Gillette - I made the pilgrimage this year for the opening game. By far the nicest stadium...but it looks like a razor company built it and my bag was too big so they made me check it in the parking lot. It wasn't that big and it was pretty flat, so it wouldn't have bothered others...don't get that one
Qualcomm - I was there for the Holiday bowl in '98 last and I don't remember much about it. I like that a trolley stops there, very convenient (like how BART stops at the Oakland coliseum)

I have been to seven stadiums.
Foxboro - bleachers, cold as hell with a wind gust, worst possible concessions and rest rooms. Mostly crappy memories with the exception of the late 90's and 01.
Mile high - the coolest bleacher stadium I have been to. Mostly due to excellent fans and atmosphere. Awesome tailgating.
Sun devil stadium- aptly named with devil because it is hell to see a day game there.
Qualcom- left a pretty amazing impression for such an old stadium. Great concessions and amenities even on the upper tier.
Pro player- So so
Arizona Cardinals new stadium- Awesome
Gillette stadium- The absolute worst home team stadium ever built. The ameneties are good but the "club" seats ruin any home field atmosphere on cold days as the best 6500 seats in the stadium are empty. What makes it worse is the seats are red and stand out when empty making it embaressing to be a Patriot fan at times. If you are a club seat member, get your ASS in the friggin seat.
Giants Stadium - Obviously
Gillette Stadium - First times ever were last season, both games
Cleveland Browns Stadium - First time was last year in the Chris Baker no catch / was a catch, game.
Only three for me so far and I won't be adding any new ones to the list in '07. Hope to go up to Buffalo for stadium #4 in '08.

Foxboro Stadium... No matter how good Gillette is, and I go there too, nothing will top being at Foxboro for the snow bowl with the Raiders
Lincoln Financial (philly).. Not bad overall. Easy to get to and very easy to enter the stadium. Urse hool fans and lousy beer selections though

I've seen the Patriots at 3 stadiums
-Foxboro (old) many times, never been to the Razor
-Meadowlands many times. Someone is always willing to part with their tickets because the Jets suck.
- Shea Stadium. Went to a game on the late 70s. Only thing I recall at this point was that some birdbrain came up with the idea of having a model airplane display (the buzzing gas powered things) at halftime, and one of them hit and killed a fan.
I've been to several other stadiums, but not for the Patriots

Hey man ,,,I'm the number one Pats fan from Vancouver??

RCA Dome for several games including last seasons AFCCG (Stadium is small, not much leg room, concourses are not very wide, very few restrooms, getting in and out of the stadium is pretty easy, decent selection of food and drinks. The replay screen looks smaller then my 52 inch Plasma in my basement. Hopefully all these shortcomings are corrected when the new stadiums opens in 2008.
Busch Stadium - St. Louis Cardinals and Dallas back before the Colts moved to Indy, I was a Dallas fan, Dallas won 24-7. I was probably only 12 at the time.

As a young lifetime socal pat fan(and we have it the hardest with all the dumb ass charger and raider fans) I went to qualcomm stadium last year for the dvisional playoff game against the charger it was a dream come true but that is one nasty stadium man ill only go to see pats play but that's it. It always tickled me how caldwell couldn't catch a cold in sd but caught a big 40+ yard catch in that playoff game it was so awesome but then again he killed us in the afc championship

PATS GAMES (Record):
Gillette Stadium (4-2) - love having a stadium away from the city, much like a college game; night games are great to watch
Dolphin Stadium (0-1) - great Pats fans representation ruined by 0-21
NON-PATS GAMES:
ALLTEL Stadium -not a bad seat in the house
Qualcomm Stadium - went to Padres games ages ago, can't remember much
This year I added:
Texas Stadium (1-0) - dingy, out in the middle of nowhere, nice fans though
M&T Bank (1-0) - fans were not pleased with the outcome of MNF :)
Next year hoping to add:
Qwest Field (Seattle)

Steelers fan here.
Hienz Field - Hate the Ketchup bottles in the endzone but the atmosphere is awesome.
Three Rivers - Old Stadium but the bowl kept the noise in and it rocked.
Giants Stadium, both for Giants and Jets games, Giants fans sit on their hands all game, Jets fans smoke weed in the spiral stairways at halftime.
Veterans Stadium...Eagles fans...nuff said.
Ralph Wilson Stadium...Bills fans pee in the sinks at halftime if its too crowded in the bathroom, nasty.
Dallas Stadium. Dallas fans are so pompous, especially for being in a freaking wharehouse like atmosphere, place is a hole.
Going to Tennessee in 08.
College Stadiums I've been to, Syracuse, Old Pitt Stadium, Oklahoma, Nebraska, Rutgers, and Arkansas. Heading to ND in 08.

I will be going back to Qualcom this year but not before I go see the 49ers park what do they call that thing Monster Park.
I will do Miami one of these years too, but I keep putting it off as they are in are conference and I will eventually get to it. I don't have to wait every 4-8 years for a game there.

Well, let's see here:
Lambeau Field (first place I saw the Pats)
Hubert H. Humphrey Metrodome (first place I saw the Pats in a regular season game)
Pontiac Silverdome
RCA Dome (Pats-Dolts games in 1998, 1999, 2001 and 2003)

Gillette Stadium :D
Needless to say, I plan to add more to the list. ;)
I have also seen NFL games at three non-NFL stadiums:
Camp Randall Stadium, Madison, Wisconsin (two Packers preseason games)
The Alamodome in San Antonio, Texas (Cowpokes-Houston Oilers preseason game known as the "Alamo Bowl")
