Default Poll: Can you name this place?

He said yesterday: "We are in a state of civil war, orchestrated by radical Islamists. This is not a question of urban violence any more, it is an intifada, with stones and Molotov ****tails. You no longer see two or three youths confronting police, you see whole tower blocks emptying into the streets to set their 'comrades' free when they are arrested."

He added: "We need armoured vehicles and water cannon. They are the only things that can disperse crowds of hundreds of people who are trying to kill police and burn their vehicles."

Well, like in the United States, the French put conservatives in charge, and they have created a mess. Let's hope they put in a more liberal government the next time around. One things for sure, conservatives know how to bring terror on, but they don't know how to stop it.

I don't think I said everything was honkie dory. What I probably said is that France is very similar to the U.S. (That's why I like it so much.) It has a lot of racism, and a lot of problems with its immigrants. Appeasement doesn't work, but addressing the underlying causes works better than what Bush is doing in Iraq. We've lost 3,000 soldiers so far, patsfans13, and the end to the war is nowhere in sight. How many soldiers are you willing to sacrifice to the altar of Bush? How many soldiers are you willing to let die before you start recognizing that the war on terror is creating more terror and costing more lives than the approaches used prior to Bush taking office? You don't get it.

Do you have some sort of auto response mechanism that instantly blames everything on some form of right wing hierarchy? France conservative? HAHAHAHA!

Might be the silliest thing you've ever said, and boy have you said some really silly things. Let me remind you that France vetoed our Iraq resolution, and has catored to the muslim cause more than any other European nation. You're very close to becoming a NEM & Harry with respect to thread classification. Your responses are becoming more biased and illogical with each post. You seem far too intelligent to be a blinded excusist. What conservativism has to do with muslims waging an intifada against French cops is mind boggling. Especially when you consider we're talking about France!

What do the muslim riots in France have to do with Bush and Iraq? The French aren't in Iraq. Matter of fact, they not only opposed our action there, they vetoed it in the UN. The French have bent over backward for muslims in their country. The problem is that their is a clear cultural head butt here. Muslims have a very difficult time assymilating to western ideals. This is a prime example of why you need to both control immigration into your country, and why assymilation is critical to an existing society.

God forbid we lay blame to the muslims here right Patters. It's all George Bush's fault.

Do You Ever Hear A "Good Muslim" Condem A "Bad Muslim"

According To Liberals There Are No "Bad Muslims"

It's all America's Fault

Liberal Heads Will Be The First To Roll When Mohammad Takes Over

How Long Do You Think The Muslims Would Let The Likes Of Nancy Pelosi Run Loose.
